I like the game so far, but whats the end plan here? One time purchase for elf/dwarf looks interesting for us who don't want to get too invested into CCG type games, but are you planing on adding more premium content? If so, of what type?
We're trying to figure it out.
Maybe premium regions? Or more heroes? Or pay to remove a character level cap? Or maybe a small entry fee for tourneys or to provision for a campaign?
We're open to advice!
I think you also need to do a new trick while the first one is still not fully finished. I did a flip and before I was fully turned back I did up-up-up thing in the air and got the badge.
I'm probably going to be in minority and I'll say that I enjoyed the game more than previous point and click games, thats if we ignore memory leaking problems.
For now I'm going to work on this idle game but I think a lot about where I want Puzzle Fuzz to go and it's looking like I will do an Episode 3 eventually to test out some new ideas I have
Hi modfix, couple of annoyances:
1) Quest rewards are kinda bad when you look at what you need to deliver. For example fishing tools quest would give me 100, while I can simply sell the barrel for 500.
2) Inventory space, you get free helmets for level ups/achievements and you use them to unlock more space. In the long run it kinda works out, but at first its very annoying so maybe reduce helmet awards and make starting inventory bigger so you aren't hit in the face with that limit in first couple of hours.
I feel that later in the game food/energy thing becomes a bit more manageable once you have multiple fishing/boar hunting spots (they are free) and southern farm unlocked. Sure, it requires good amount of clicking but at least you are playing :)
I'll second what Tjomii said, food system is too harsh. Either max food or food production should be increased since now you chop couple of trees and you are out for an hour.
I bought 100 crystals to see how game looks after first pay wall. I don't regret it since game itself isn't bad and it costed only 10 kreds (160 starting crystals + 100 bought). Anyway next pay wall is after level 36. Same cost. At this point I don't really see any motivation to continue playing or paying. Card progression after 36 levels is almost non existent. You get clovers only for receiving star first time so most you can get from level is 300, considering that some third stars are likely to be impossible to get without particular cards or high level cards you can expect to get something like 5 card draws (that most likely will end up as commons), after your progression will be locked into one free daily draw. tldr; game itself is decent, monetization model drags it down towards "unplayable". 2/5.
