love the game, and have played several of its successors, but man, its hard to get a glowing frame, currently around lvl 15 mage. have come to within 10,000 pts of a glowing.
i doubt it'll get fixed being 3 years old, but here's a bug at least on zone 13. If you're already in the process of dragging your cell to another but purple takes over and then you click and purple tentacle will go to that cell from the one you were already dragging from even though it's no longer yours. Great game
really would like a way to steer with the mouse. the mouse camera and WSAD steering is kind of wonky for me at the moment. i might adjust but transition for the mass would be quicker if you implemented a mouse steering option.
to add other thoughts. i don't think speed should be increased greatly like some mentioned. Its space, vast and massive empty space that's supposed to take time to travel in, some like quick arcade but i prefer some realistic touches. module presets would be nice but if added i'd like to see a real touch to it like 5-10 seconds to change from mining guns to lasers. I don't think your ship modules should be preset changeable unless you dock though. as i'm sure you will, add some more AI to add a little life to the universe. As my first comment said this has massive potential. Maybe space corps, companies, AI faction warfare where you join a said company/corp to help mine for them and get paid more, join military to fight for map/sector dominance. Really this puts me in mind of an X3+EVE type environment which I've always pictured would be great. That's what you have here, and great foundation for a game that could go many directions with future features.
Just started playing this game and it has AWESOME! potential. i thought it was 2d at first which still would've made it a great browser game, then realized it was 3D. That is just epic for(as said) a single developer to make. I love the modules, the vast range of ships. You should really continue your plan to release it as a standalone game, 4.99-9.99 on steam would do some good probably. Great work, keep improving it!
game is okay except for the wood elves sort of have an unfair advantage imo. they constantly send troops and then with what i think is their charge, they send like 20 units all at once. bit unfair imo seeing as we only send 10.
what others have said, the snap into place makes it way too simple. I thought maybe that would just be a feature of the first few levels then remove it. Would've been much more difficult. Good game all around
great Great GREAT game. should definitely make more levels. like maybe taken over by hells minions, so you fight in hell, then get back to earth, fight em there, and then ascend to heaven to assist with the hellish take over there due to lack of faith weakening angels' strength or something.
i've played a shit ton of Risk. and i know this is supposed to be as accurate as possible....but i've never played a board game where everyones goal is to have peace for the first 5 turns basically and let everyone get a continent....that's just horrible gameplay. You see someone get a continent and you have no chance this turn to get yours, then you get what you can for you and you take one territory from the one with a continent. that's just common sense when playing the board game. But i suppose i'm outnumbered by the 5 turn peacekeepers that play now
This is a fantastic game. However. I just had a glitch out after taking off from a planet and had a cargo hold full to cash in on, but low and behold when i clicked take off, no planet on screen or my ship just a few enemy ships, nothing moving, screen started turning red. and boom i died. Connection issues/sever issues can kill a games playability and enjoyability. This happens too many more times, even as great as it is, i won't be able to play it.
you can steer with mouse in pilot mode
