@Eggsnham This is a beta, the reason it is up is for people to play it and find any bugs that he missed and tell them what they think. So no he shouldn't have made sure it worked because that's why it's beta

When I closed the shop 2 the variables didn't hide XD, Also the mute button overlays the close button for shop 2, And you have to open and close the shop for the shop 2 button to reappear, Just some bugs I found XD But nice game I like using scratch but they have some limitations so I'm trying to learn java.
