I agree with most of the others, you need to improve your energy system. It's not that your game isn't fun, it's just that *nobody* wants to sit around for so long.
I also think the story needs to be worked on. So far, it's just "Please kill these things! Oh, you did that? Now someone's been kidnapped! Now I need to test you! DO EVERYTHING".
The Turn Based battle system is something that needs to be brought back to modern gaming. The ATB system is considered modern and better, but I'm a sucker for a good TB'd game. With some polishing, this game will be great.
Weird, I just beat the 3 previous installments for the first time yesterday. Anyway, 4 stars for being a lengthy and fun point and click, but navigation is a pain. It adds to the challenge, I suppose. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next one!
Is there no way to fight the monster frozen outside of The Owl's lair? I figured killing it would be a part of the second ending after collecting all of the treasure shards, but no. Awesome game, A+. I would love to see more work like this from you.
Says you updated a blackscreen bug, but I can't play after the first platforming part where it says "She and I were fine with this distance". I can press escape and restart the scene, but it doesn't work and only shows text. I'm using Chrome.
Just beat the game, and let me say- Wow. It's not every day that you find a game lie this on the internet. I haven't played part one, but I'm about to. PLEASE continue to make games like this!
