UGH.... This game was annoying through and through. I beat it though! Apparently, I'm Incredibly Stubborn, meaning it probably counted the 1,103 deaths that I had XD Yeah, I was having IWBTG Flashbacks from the amount of deaths I had, but this was nowhere NEAR that level. I'll give it 4/5, because I found the graphics to be a bit lacking (though the blood effects were well done) and Level 30 about made me chip a tooth. Keep tp the good work!
This game might be the sole reason why I don't get the quest.... It's SO %$#@ING B.O.R.I.N.G. Whoever thought that grinding in a TD would make it better? And aside from that, the different towers aren't anything new or exciting. Wrap that all up with a horrendously tedious level design and too many non-descript levels makes this game a real loser for me. 1/5
Nice job on this one, Doc! I've always thought FPA was one of the best physics-based platformers around, and this installment is no exception. With that being said, I enjoyed myself immensely, but there are a few minor problems that I have.
Firstly, I'm not exactly certain if it's just me, but I've collected the stars in Island Express 3 times now, and they're not staying collected. This is maddening for a completionist like myself, especially when the stars are all that I need to get 100%.
Secondly, there are tiny glitches here and there in the game that are merely distracting, and very rarely annoying, but they're there nonetheless. Lastly, this game seems a bit.... unpolished. I noticed certain backgrounds were still sketchy where others were full detail, little things like that.
However, these little qualms aren't enough to prevent a score of 5/5 from me. Looking forward to World 4!
Goddamnit!!!!!! I hate you guys right now!!! That did NOT upgrade my heart at all! If anything, it DOWNgraded it!!!
Aside from that little bit of debauchery, I enjoyed this one more than the original. Keep up the good work (and don't do that again.... I know how to find you....)
Well, I'm thoroughly depressed now. :(
This was one helluva disturbing game.... At the same time, however, its also pretty well put together. The music and graphics are great for the atmosphere that the producer is trying to portray, the story is a harsh blend of melancholy and hopelessness , and the three endings wrap everything up nicely, while managing to be depressing as sin (No spoilers, but I'll give you guys a hint: Rocks fall, Everyone dies.) The controls are a little stiff (I found the grav-boost technology annoying to use), but all in all a good little game here.
....I'm going to have nightmares about the ending with the professor, I can just feel it....
One of the classics, and a truly great game! and honestly, I kinda like the secret character.... I find that Mr. Gibson is grossly overlooked as a person, so it's nice to see someone pay homage to him like this.
I enjoy this game a lot. However, I've noticed something rather off about the Ranged Skill in this game. Off, as in it doesn't seem to.... Do anything. This is a big problem for me, because most of my army consists of ranged units.... Has anyone else encountered this problem before?
Despite this problem, I enjoy this game. I've always liked tower defense games, and this series has been consistently good. Good work.
Gross, but well made.... I like it!
4/5
P.S. for matt_mess1221: You need to bring the white pill as close to you as possible. How would you go about doing this? What weapons do you have in your arsenal that would help you achieve your goal?
Not bad at all! The last two puzzles got me.... I'd have never figured out 14 without the walkthrough. But number 15 was pretty good. Here's a hint for number 15: make sure your steel balls and laser detectors are oriented correctly.
4/5
-.5 for the length of the game (or lack thereof, in this case)
-.1 because it wasn't virtually perfect (glitches and the like)
GRR!!!! This game frustrates me to no end! Not because of he difficulty, mind you (all you need to do is use the functions correctly.) My complaint is the command buttons! They're so glitchy, they interfere with the game as a whole! I try to drag a light bulb down to function 2, but for some reason, the glitchy mouse controls make it so that I let go of the light bulb in the main function window, causing it to replace a vital command. When I try to replace that one, the same thing happens. When I FINALLY get everything right, I accidently hit the reset button instead of the go button, and I have to do EVERYTHING over again!
Yikes, that was difficult! I like point and clicks, although I usually don't need to use the walkthrough (like I did on this one.) The puzzles, although abstract at times, were fun, and one can tell that a lot of work went into this. Keep up the good work!
o_O Why would anyone shoot a heat seeking missile at a cat?! Anyway, I suck at the game, but I can tell that its a good game, it just gets slightly repetitive after awhile. 4/5
Boy, don't you just love the people here that leave only insults on the comments without bothering to give any rhyme or reason to it? Anyway, excellent game. I find no problems with the conversation, personally. My complaints are with the final boss. If you use the correct item, you can easily kill him in one shot, no problem. I'd strongly suggest removing this weakness from him (you probably know what I'm talking about.) Otherwise, keep up the stellar work, and I can't wait for number 3!
