I love this game but the balancing is awful. Almost always the shield is the best powerup, and for weapons there's almost never a reason to use the shotgun or the bow early on, but by the end of the game the bow is better than everything else at everything. Also the boss is extremely easy with good tier weapons, which by the way you can't downgrade. Everything else is brilliant though, really good roguelike.
