I blame these flash banner ads--even on other games processors are pegging at 100%. Running The Plunge alone in a separate window outside of Kongregate works just fine. Very odd.
The letter availability is fixed, and selection is random--but that's what the "Discard" button is for... bad luck, for sure, but sometimes that's what you get.
Becca, that's part of the challenge of the game! When you play the word it either scores Green if it is a valid word, or Red if it is not a word. Telling you as you spell kind of spoils the challenge of learning and memorizing odd words.
Also, we are making final gameplay tweaks this week--so if you guys have any recommendations on what you would like to see to make play more balanced, let us know. Thanks!
We are using Mochi Leaderboards for the scoreboards. Apparently they went down for 10-15 minutes. We'll add a check to see if they are up and running to the next version to eliminate the boards if they are down. Silly Mochi.
