Rather odd bug I've been experiencing, when purchasing items I seem to receive items completely different from what I bought - for instance, buying three small healing potions and them becoming a gladiator sword in the inventory.
This was never the case with this game when I played it several years ago, was there a recent patch that caused this issue?
The developer missed out on the chance to call the "Blizzard Mages" "Blizzard Wizards".
Hope the development of EC2 is going well, this is still to this day one of my favourite games on Kongregate.
@Doma Check the abilities, you may be using things like Shock, or Mirror, which will give them more Rage, or they could have Backfire.

I personally feel that there should be a way to exchange Pieces or Coin for DP, otherwise, there is absolutely no way (unless you pay) to afford anything such as a deck, or BAM Legend cards, without saving DP for several patches, which is just ridiculous, in a game that requires you to be up-to-date to stay on top of the competition.

Matter of fact, Holymantis isn't a fantastic healer, it's incredibly weak (low hp, lots of weaknesses), and most of it's heals are either single or over-time.
But I digress, it is substantial.
And please, if you read this, do not invest in a tank if you're not going to get one that redirects 100% of the damage to it, you'd be better off getting a buffer/debuffer, every single tank I tried was useless up until that Fire Bear and then I scrapped that bear a few levels later for a Titan Tank, believe me, you'd be better off with Healer/Buffer/Attackers, instead of anything else.
Really refreshing take on the launch genre, love it.
I do agree with the folks who are asking for randomly generated maps, it would make things a little more fresh each time.
The music is very reminiscent of one of the water-areas of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
Except with a lot more instruments, and some "aah's" in the background.
@Liljoshua123 By that you mean, "Fish" and "Moth".
Simple to even just re-roll your starting creature to get a Dorsal/Tail Fin Fish, and if you do some base Moth breeding and then buy one that has just a Scorpion Tail, it's still very cheap.
Wolf and Lion Tail is another right-off-the-bat combo but it's so overused.
@zeropeace2012 The stamina recharge gets slower as you go up the tiers, which is why it's best to keep some high leveled tier 1/2 pets to rake in more money.
When you get to 4/5 stamina recharge takes hours.
Anyone done any research into the Bone parts and what all of them combined give a creature? And what creatures they work for?
The wiki has little info on the Bone parts.. Doing my own experimentation with them, but I'd like thoughts from others too.
Just found 5 artifact chests on the 2nd floor.. Why couldn't this happen in my last play-through when I died on floor 98 after trying to go for a death-less run.
@Blossomcloud This is multiplayer (Everything you fight is created by someone, and there are organised battles in the Syndicate).
You already can choose what moves to use, just change the options for the move to something like, "When Self: Positive Condition", or something similar, there are loads of options.. On top of that, if you actually had to physically choose skills then there would need to be two people in a fight, not just AI, making this fully multiplayer and unplayable when there is no one playing that is your general tier/level/rank.
There is an absolute tonne of skills, you've just yet to find a creature with them. Also, you get other skill slots as you move up tiers, if everything had the same amount of skill slots and the same skills then what would make a Dragon more powerful than a Moth? Get it?
@CritotomorII I appreciate your comment but I know all these things, no note (with attached sample) ever showed up, no one has the same ip on Critter Forge as me, because I'm damn sure my mother doesn't play this game and for that last one, of course there is a delay, but after waiting a long time, about 2 days now, I still have no answer referring to that auction.
I think it's possible that I lost money by bidding too late, while putting the money on the sample it could have ran out of time, thus causing me to lose the money and have no record of the auction as it wasn't there anymore.
But not complaining, it was only a couple thousand credits, not a big deal really.
