The fact that the dash starts a little after pressing the button makes everything a little tricky, but it's not that it makes the game impossibile.
Really cool! I'm sad that there was only one level with the slimes.

There's no much backstory :) The ghost was once a princess kidnapped by the Overlord. Nobody rescued her. She was hated because of her terrible insolence and carelessness so she lived in the Overlord's castle, mocking and bullying him constantly until the end of times and even after. The young appearance and the fact that she turned into a ghost is due to the castle's curse, she lived her earthly life to the age of 200, until she died of laughter. The Overlord is just an evil dude, he was born evil and he likes pizza because who doesn't
