The concept is great and all, but the more I play it, the more I find that the balancing is just... absolutely terrible. The PvP is thrown together with no real match making as much as it's tiered solely off of recent wins (which then get taken back like they never even happened), which shows nothing in terms of actual skill nor equipment level, which makes it an atrocious match making system. Normally, this COULD be mitigated over time with better equipment, but this is behind a very obnoxious - albeit finite in terms of influence - pay wall, be it from the energy limits in the Campaign levels or with the severely down-putting RNG put into literally everything, from weapon output to the apparently extremely biased gacha system in the "loot crates." All in all, I just can't recommend this to people for how poorly balanced it is and how heavily it biases against "grinders" and for "coiners."
I can't get into the game, either on this account or my main. I was just starting to get into a base attack yesterday when everything about the game stopped loading for me.
Flamethrower is extremely underwhelming and it's disappointing that you can't reset skillpoints. No further complaints, however, game's decent after that.
The Swarm Gun is quite simply garbage with its accuracy and could use some actual consistency in where it fires, otherwise I'd rather have the Shotgun, which is almost as bad with its own spread, but consistently so at less than half the price.
All in all, great game, but I should be able to sell unnecessary equipment, not just turrets. Also, there's a bug with the last boss where turrets will continue to focus on the location of one of the two parts even when that part of it is dead.
This game has potential, but only if it gets a serious work-over, because it's much, MUCH too difficult for players to ease into the game at the start with how shoddy the aim can be, not to mention the fact that swapping weapons seems to break the game for me.
@klovnkalle, you sound like a Kixeye supporter, obsessed with shitting on their competition by ignoring what anyone else has to say about your own agenda. Perhaps if you took the time to pay attention, maybe you'd figure out that SOME OF US happen to simply be low level accounts as we JUST STARTED Kongregate accounts to play the game on this platform as well as on the IGW site. Oh yeah, the game's on it's own site by the way. Does Kixeye have individual sites for their games too because they're so good? No? Didn't think so, so get off your high horse and take a hint, unless you're really that insecure and can't be bothered to do anything except downvote positive comments and upvote the negative ones.
I see the Kixeye agents are at it already, trying to spread their lies against their one competitor taking away their VEGA Conflict players. Sorry, fellas, but this game is far from P2W, it's anything BUT horrible, and anyone that says otherwise can go seek professional help, heck I wouldn't mind assisting with UNprofessional help since I do have a decent amount of experience with psychology in the social field.
I remember this game when it was owned by Kabam before they claimed maintenance issues to us and then shut it down without so much as a reaction to our fundraisers and petitions. Awesome game that was taken away from us despite popular demand, but now it's back and as epic as ever!
