I defeated the necromancer, but I still feel like I missed something. The pages say that he was at soul number 974 at Day 1, and I defeated him after 19 people disappeared. Wonder if there is a game over screen if he does get to 1000, or a different boss fight? Or maybe I missed something at floor 80. Can't believe I did complete it.
Maybe make the secret cave locations never change? I am trying to set the story together, but I can't seem to find some of the secret caves to find the diary pages.
Some sort of "add properties only to projectiles" property would be nice, so a ragdoll can actually hold a bow with poisonous arrows without poisoning himself :P
Played it until some dude pulled off that red aim thing on me while I was lagspiking (by the way, what the heck is wrong with the lag in this game?) and made me lose my chaingun permanently. Seriously, fix that crap.
Wild-Cat seems too easy. All you have to do is wait it out with chameleony and spam dehydratation. I went straight through the game, without defeats until Waizer, and even then, it took only 2 tries to beat him.
Alright, a quick guide to beat Waizer with Wild-Cat: First, you need maxed focus, instinct, perception, coordination, intelligence and willpower. Stamina and speed will also help. You should have all these at 20 before the fight. Weapon choice doesn't matter, it is purely based on your skills. You will need spider senses, dehydratate, chameleony and blinding light. The strategy is to wait for his trans to wear off, which will usually take seven or six turns. The reason is, all his buffs end up helping his agility, so it is easier to hit him after it. Survive through his buffs with chameleony, and use spider senses one turn before chameleony ends so you can guarantee the higher initiative to start with chameleony again. When his trans ends, use blinding light until you hit, and then just spam dehydratate until it stacks enough to kill him. + To keep this up alive, took me only two tries to defeat him, and the first defeat was because I didn't time spider senses correctly.
Alright, putting it out there: I hate how guns work right now. You shoot a pistol at someone, and he loses his lower torso and both arms. Please, make it so guns shoot projectiles that cause damage and bleeding, or something else. It is not even fun using guns anymore. And keep up with the good work, the powers came out perfectly.
Not quite sure what you mean by "right now" and "anymore", since the guns have always worked exactly like that, but I do agree with the rest.
Better bullet behaviour is for sure one of the larger technical things I feel that is still missing from MaD2, but at the same time I’m still not 100% sure about it because it’s such a huge change. As in, expansion-huge.
Balancing 20+ firearms damage-wise in addition to actually making the system more realistic in the first place with bulletholes and whatnot is a huge undertaking in the end.
The ending was sort of disappointing. I was expecting a plot twist, or have him see his own dimension destroyed, or so. I even played the level again and tried going back through the door after defeating the other cloaked figure. Anyways, it was a very good game. Perfect mix between puzzle, plataformer and shooter/action. Good job on making it, it deserves more stars.
Alright, my ideas for powers: Gravity - If pressed, will create a sphere area (you decide the size) that will push down ragdolls. If thrown, creates a moving sphere just like Void's, except with pushing down effect. Explosion - Self-Explanatory (Maybe if held Boom Staff-like effect, if thrown sort of one of these MaD 1 explosives). Since you added most elemental properties as power, add Dispelling and Killing power too. Activation - Yes, there is already F key. Think of it as an area activation, makes it easier to activate many explosives at once other than buttons.
So, the enemy had like, 10 men and I had 3 on my province. I had, however, over 21 on the territory just to the side, but instead of my attack meeting them, they attacked first and I just instantly lost the game. The whole "protect province or die" thing makes the game lame.
Cont. Sunfish - Explore the solitary remnant (beach), you should find a glowing egg there. Give it to the professor. Poraque - Keep swimming through the deep cave until you hit a dead end. If you choose to fight, a Poraque will usually appear together with few other monsters. There is also a Poraque at beach if you fish, it is always excellent quality, but can't be catched. Triturator is located at beach, keep searching the waves. + to keep this up.
Cont. Giger Pup - Affiliate with Team Comet. Velossil - Find all parts of the fossils, which are located at the professor's basement (acess through cave), the sea cavern where you find Plaezio (you gotta scroll around for a bit), the lighthouse (go upstairs until you find it), your house, and Diego's. Snake Eyes - If you don't want to pay the 15000 credits at warhouse, you can just beat the man at the bar on the gambling game. Simply having it also seems to increase your luck at your game, so you can use it to win money. Hellscream - Defeat Chtulu at top of lighthouse, have your best Dawg sniff the book.
List of some of the "hard" to find Dudes: Voodox - Keep using the option "Give the whole cow" at ranch. Chtudeling - Defeat Chtulu and don't sell the tentacles, give them to the professor. Go home and you will get the dude. Chtulu can be found at top of the lighthouse, just keep climbing until you sanity runs out. Baleana - You will need a harpoon. Harpoon can only be found by affiliating with team comet, after you enter their headout with the password and choose to join them. Robot Chicken - After you defeat the B.S. Ranch story, come back there and keep giving the cops scrap metal. Then select your best rust chicken and give it to the cop after the machine is complete.
Anyone else found the Corpsefeeder a bit OP? I skimmed through the game with it. Even tho it had low health, I found it much thougher than a tank like Devirrok, as it could leech life very fast.
