in realm revolutions when you try to spend assimilation points, but don't have a 'quick save' file the game all but locks up from repeatedly looking for the file when it doesn't exist. the way the game is now it erases the file when you get a new point to prevent problems from having the save use a different # of points than you have. You should have the game create an "empty" file when you get a new point to prevent this problem. Another problem is the 'magic staff' recharges any empty staff when used. it should only charge staves other than the magic staff. having one staff charge the other back & forth instead of charging something useful is irritating.
