It's a great game you have made guys, even if it's a little slow at the moment (Actually very slow, but we're patiently waiting for Phase 2!) Just a suggestion for Phase 2:
Maybe you could make some more complex upgrades that give big upgrades for something, but at a great cost. For example an upgrade that sacrificed some of your hard earned newspapers and in return increased profit of Oil Companies a lot. An upgrade like this would only be effective at some points during the game depending on what upgrades you get from your newspapers and how many Oil Companies you have. Then you could earn a lot of AIs, and when you reset and get a few extra newspapers, it might not be as effective, so you don't buy it this time.
Upgrades like that would add some more variety to the game and different strategies and "Builds". Would be very interesting at least, hope you'll consider it :-)
(Btw these upgrades should possibly have their own tab, so you dont buy them by accident)
