It’s been dark for over a year now. Ever since the first outbreak no one has been the same. It first started out as just a few, then a few million, which isn’t that bad considering there’s over 7 billion people in the world. Then it went out of control. Riots were every where, wanting the government to do something, they did nuke New York City though, where this all started. It didn’t work, since the virus takes about a week to completely take over your body, and it showing no signs of its infection, no one knew whether they would become one or not. I wouldn’t call them zombies, they couldn’t run fast, but they didn’t walk extra slow either. They weren’t able to move without vital organs, and they could still bleed out, but they had a craving for flesh. They were more wild beast raised by wolves than zombies. One not smarter than the other. It started out with my dad, my brother, and I. My mother was one of the first to go, the government snatched her up to run some studies on her. When they took her away they said that they will fix her up, make her, her again. We knew she wasn’t coming back, we said our goodbyes, cried, and then packed immediately. Thank God that dad got us out of New York when he did, around two days later the bomber plane flew over Ohio, making their way to what was once known as our home. Now we live with our Aunt Judy and her farmer of a husband, without them we would be nothing. One of the homeless living on the street, just waiting to turn… To Be Continued…
