The viewing interface (And the inability, as far as I can find, to just keep the camera centered on/behind your own ship) is clunky.
...That is literally the only thing I can complain about in this game so far, and I've been playing for easily 10 hours now. I love this game, from the impressive size and scope of the in-game universe to the nice little Star Trek bleeps and bloops the interface makes to the interesting and ultimately surprisingly solid choice you made in having a powerful autopilot, it -feels- more like a late model commercial space ship should control, and the fact that you trust the player to just go into this sandbox and do their thing instead of handholding and forcing quests down our throat was also very impressive on your part. I will be spending a lot of time playing this game and am recommending it to my friends, thanks very much for it.
Control is far from smooth, the jump between where you're aiming with iron sights and where you're aiming with scope is ridiculous, and it looks like hogan's alley but with uncanny-valley females dressed in vaguely communist military uniforms.
It was fun and I liked the storyline aspect of it and the "damsel" being the one who grabs the bazooka, but the gameplay itself lacked much in the way of actual challenge or depth.
