Hey there! In Woodwarf you are probably pressing wrong buttons lol :-D
You first need to buy dwarves. Then upgrade them like you did.
The buttons for buying are the very icons of dwarves all the way to the left. Just a bit more than those you pressed to upgrade. THANKS for playing!! :-D
