Infction, I take the time and effort to kill the vast majority of the swarming bandits on the way to their den. It levels up my crew, which comes in handy later in the game, when I set, as a personal goal, to take out atleast 5 of the six army battalions during the end battles.

It’s rather fun, although the bandits’ hideout is probably the most tedious part of that because at that point in the game, I have only about 1/2 of the staff hired (of +50), and it can take several hours to get from the town you are supposed to depart from to the hideout, due to the nearly perpetual bandit battles on the way there. show less

The bandits’ den is probably the most tedious portion of the game, in terms of battling and consuming a lot of time. As you move the plot forward, by working for the Patrol early on, you will eventually be sent to talk to a bandit, who wants a significant bribe. It is possible to only pay $30K, but if you mess up, you can end up paying $50K to him. He will tell you the location of the bandits’ hideout and how to get there. show less |
