This is an OK game with actual replay value, but, contrary to Shaydox's beliefs, this game is boring for some people, and others just aren't into it. I really can't stand playing it much anymore, after you beat it, there's no real gripping story or gameplay to keep you in, but it's always fun to revisit the new classics. Even though it stole a lot of stuff from other games blatantly, that's just part of its charm. ;) Sonny 2 on the other hand is great, its class system is intuitive, it's very fun to play around with, and the story line, while odd, is also pretty original, a definite improvement over this one.
It's a good game!...The first time you play it through, the second time has absolutely NO difference. There is one ending, one way to ultimately get there, and the same cheesy lines every time. Gets old before you even finish the first game! The second time it just tends to make you nod off. Make a game with more options and you'd get more than a 2/5 from me, but hey, I'm hard to please....I just like quality I guess.
Defense game and original can not go in the same sentence unless separated by the words "is not".

Why are there random spikes of lag...and is anyone else getting this from this game?

Too many copies, 1 star for posting it, plus games that the mechanics of are the biggest problem are out of date.

Except fervor, which sorta sucks compared to litany of pain or blinding light.
Clerics can be Paladins or Priests, if they're a paladin ( protector/healer ) then they need endurance, and int, and they can use every type of shield. If they're priests, they need to always be far enough away from people so they can't get attackeded and they need int, with censers. If you give a cleric strength, that's going under the assumption that they're going to be front line attackers, which is a complete waste of their abilities, which ALL rely on int.

Grammar*. Couple of things...balance the classes, make some skills easier to hit ( The charmer thing, I pumped all of my points into charm and I had the best stuff I could get and I had a 60% chance to hit with a VERY costly spell o_O ), rebalance some enemies, possibly make it a little less linear. And ya know, overall more interesting. But that's just my opinion.

The song at the end makes it all worth while.

A, no the secret races aren't "better" per se, and B, it auto-saves

It would be a great game...if it wasn't so repetetive...the weapons only offer you reach, nothing other than the slash slash slash slash bang. The punch is still the best rage gatherer, after punching a few times you can rage explode and clear the screen basically. -shrug- Plus, why is the 2nd boss harder than the fourth >>?

Boring, story is hard to follow, need to implement more rules and limiters than just mana if you're going to make it multiplayer as well. I.e ~ 1-3 card summon per turn 1-2 instants per turn 1-2 auras per turn 1 equip per monster Time limit per turn ( on multiplayer only)

Way to beat the end.... - Throw Elves and Hobbits at it immediately -Focus all four arrows so they nail it's base, only make them go through, the elemental arrows explosions would only hinder your units -Send arch angels and dragons at it - To make this easier make sure you've laid down the trap, and you have your turret. Even doing all of this, you will most likely kill it right before it gets to your castle, but once it gets closer you will start nailing it for much more damage. Note: The hobits and elves are cannon fodder for it, let the explosions deal with the occasional wave of weak mobs, they are there for mana. If you do this, killing The End is very possible.

You don't spontaneously die, you're just getting hit for a LOT of damage by the ghost samurai...that little flame thing does more damage depending on your defense. ( High defense = over 10k damage easily ) so, if you're melee, strip down, get off a horse, and fight them that way with plenty of potions, or, you could do it my way, get a semi-fast horse, and kite them around as 8 x-bow men snipe them down.
Lame, no goal, just a gadget. Thumbs down.

A couple of things should be considered, possibly a list of quests to choose from that give you a set amount instead of clicking a button over and over, a back button from that menu, oh, and could you make the soldiers you buy less of a novelty and more of an actual help? I buy soldiers the same type that were hitting mine for over 500 and now they only do 20 max, why? It's not really a strategy game, it's more of a...buy 500 potions and take over the capital while hitting X over and over so you don't die... Also, you should rethink the stat gains, and item requirements, not to mention some of the skills are either glitchy or worthless. It needs a lot more improvement than an easy mode, not to mention you should proofread everything, not just spell check it...many many typographical errors.

Unimaginative, almost plaigerism, boring, too steep of a learning curve. This deserves a 1 in my opinion. Try harder next time, and people should stop enjoying it so much just because it's like something they're used to.
