The two countries are locked in lots of political tension. The barbed wire prevents any of the people from either country getting onto the bridge - so, I guess the bridge is technically 'free' of all the people that are locked up in war?
By the way:
+ I LOVE that there is a "Start Muted" button - the music is good but I like the option of not having the music so I can keep my own music playing sans interruption - more games should have this feature!
- However, I don't like the way the game is sort of divided into 2 parts: grinding helps throughout the first 15-20 levels but then it suddenly becomes all about skill and optimizing the ship's build. I'd rather have either a game where you can constantly upgrade your ship all the way through, or have a game where there is a choice of ship at the start for your preference of play-style but then it's all about skill throughout.
Lvl 45, grind it for 10mins or so, doesn't matter about win, you'll still get 200 gifts + 5 coins. Then, once you have everything unlocked, go into slot machine, check the "use all coins" and go make some lunch whilst you get a few hundred power ups.
When over 10000 scraps, sometimes the game cuts off the last digit (effectively reducing my money by tenfold) it's happened to me twice now and is rather annoying.
Sorry... I thought too much button mashing and not enough complex rhythms as a first impression. Haven't played all of it yet but already I'm feeling 3 beats 4 :P Also the 'boss battles' are a bit of a gimmick and I dislike.
Hahaha if you hold 'down' when you're on an upwards slope, you roll backwards. If you get it right, you can roll all the way down the stairs of the first house (apart from the start), and then roll all the way back to your porch!
Um, to the guy who is in utter disbelief at how a treadmill can burn 30l calories in 5 mins, imagine yourself as a dinosaur who weighs, like, 10 tons, running at what is probably ten times your natural running speed, for waaaay more than how long you usually have to run to catch prey, and JUMPING PROBABLY ABOUT 10 METRES AT A TIME
One of the best/most fun TD's I've played in a long time! I love the unique gravity kinda thing, instead of having everything going round at a constant speed.
