Part 2 of my feedback.... And was the newspaper clipping the end? I was in the zone, ready to shoot some more pigs (maybe bigger and more dangerous pigs). But then this static pops up and shows a random newspaper clipping about some girl dying from a fire. Unless you were trying to add some story element to this game this just confused me even more. I almost felt like this article was meant to be about me "dying" after I played this game or something. Anyway if that was suppose to be a story plot point make the news article shorter and to the point so I could quickly read it and move on. I don't like reading walls of text when I'm playing a game (unless it's an interactive novel). A restart button would be nice too. Overall I thought it was a fun little experience. Shooting evil pigs? Sure! Keep up the game making.
Thanks Ingo!
I will keep up the game making indeed.
At the newspaper ending pressing esc will take you back to the start screen if you want to play again. My next game shall have a more comfortable first seconds, shorter walls of text.
thanks for the feedback
Keep up the game making too! :)
The learning curve was well done. One pig, then two pigs, then a few more pigs (this is were I learned that I could also shoot the bullets that the pigs were firing) and so on. It was short but I understand that it's still in development.
The game starts off very quick after you press the play button. I feel that it needs a delayed pause and a"Ready, Set, GO!" thing before the rail shooter begins. I was confused at first but then I understood what was going on a few seconds into the game. But those first few seconds should have been a more comfortable experience then a panicked one.
Surprisingly scary. Sound effects would help a lot. Clanking and creaking sounds coming from the pipes as you move through them, I think will make the player want to be cautious. Especially if there is a loud sound when ever you drop down a pipe. Monster is funny looking and I felt relieved when I saw it. If it was me I would try something that didn't look like a box Totoro. The first half of the game was scary and the last half was okay. The controls were effective except for looking around with the mouse. I had to drag my mouse further then I expected. When I met the monster I didn't have enough room on my desk to turn myself around to get away from it. All in all this was engaging for what it was.
