actually garlanx, ahriman's prophecy and a whole bunch of others are created using RPG maker, and all the tiles are available there, so he wouldn't have to have played that.
For the ??? creatures, I just did full Samurai army. By the time you get to that point, you should have the money for the army. That way you won't have to wait for so long for so many green giants.
Come on people, give this game a chance. It's a good game. While in the beginning, I didn't get how to effectively manage my troops, and as a result, often got frustrated. Even though I was frustrated, there was still something about this that I just couldn't place. I tried again after a while, and if you can manage your troops effectively, then this game becomes very fun. This isn't about the points. This is about what you can do with whatever troops in whatever terrain you get. I've found it especially satisfying having a normal grunt advance to the top rank, doing everything possible to keep it alive (heroism x 3).
