I really wanted to like this game, but I cant. Sadly 1000 character limit wont allow me to go into detail, but there is just so many bad design choices here. To everything I said previously there is just so many more every step of the way. Difficulty does not increase rewards (other then gold from quest), there is no reason not to play on easy. Progression is really bad. 2 out of 4 biomes really hurt my eyes. Characters does not improve, your only upgrades are a weapon and class skills. Everything that's been great about original PKQ is just not present here. No dynamic, "real time", turn based fights, no skills upgrades in strength and effects, no weapon damage affinity, no creative crafting system. But battle pass and "buy anything with $" button are present. I really wish original PKQ would be revived, even if in offline manner for Flashpoint.
I gave this game another chance, so here is a little bit of feedback, mostly about problems with the gameplay.
Start of the game is really boring, there isnt much other then auto-attack. Rewards for fighting are laughable and you better off skipping as much of them as possible. First 10 hours you sell everything, you really need gold. Way too many ambushes, especially on specific unavoidable tiles where it's like 9/10 times an ambush. Quests not rewarding enough and take too long. Levels dont do much, no stats, no HP, lvl 30 party have no problem going against lvl 100 enemies. Difficulty comes from amount of waves rather then enemy level. Characters rarity and traits dont seem to add much. Skills autouse is random, characters often heal enemies rather then using appropriate skill or at least skipping a turn. Library missing explanations, like for weapon scaling, characters rarity, skills rank, monsters stats, Menus are inconvenient. And many more problems, especially with progression.
Interesting, after playing for 3 hours all my characters just disappeared. at first their menus were empty, then they went missing completely. Starting game with no one in the party make you run around as nothing. I guess it's a sign. I see that there are more or less same systems as in original PKQ, but this pointless "platforming", painfully bright graphics and generally bad 3D of the game makes me sad. I really liked original PKQ, but this game feel slow, messy, with questionable design and hard to look at. I gave it a chance, but I wont risk my progress to be deleted again.
Thanks for the feedback,
This game is a bit different from the original,
The exploration from point and click became 2d platforming.
For the graphics/theme, we're focusing on "Paper-art" and "Cube/Blocks", so nothing fancy, also there is size limit with WebGL game,
And which build version are you playing with the bug that happened ?
I have fixed the bug with updates and prevented the character disappearing.
I found out about this game existence when I remembered Paper Knight Quest, and realized that it's dead all across the internet. So I gave this game a shot, despite, seeming only few people played it in a last few months. And while I had some amount of fun, this game is severely undercooked. PKQ was very grindy but you felt real progress and super late game items were actually strong and really hard to get, here however, you cant do much to upgrade your characters. A lot of inconveniences and lack of variety and general QoL. But the most annoying part that I found out is that characters physically cant get more then 75 EXP per quest, you can get 2k, but nope, "divide equally" does not apply if it's capped for absolutely no reason, so you lose on 70% of the reward, and it gets worse later. I feel like it could have been a good game, but leveling system, units that refuse to follow orders, Tanya that prefer to run in melee and die, and a hundred other problems really bring it down.
Another "Idle" game that dont know how to idle. When game closed you get only gold (limited to 4 hours), no waves progress, no daily progress, no exp, no cooldowns, literally nothing. You cant progress if game closed. Good style, good animations, good menus being ruined by force to have game permanently open and an absolute giant paywall with permanent bonuses, which in total let you progress dozens times faster by themselves.
Well this game does have some potential, altho it's clearly not even remotelly finished or even playable really, plus it have energy based system, and my account got erased for some unknown reasons. I can only wish creator good luck with reworking, fixing and polishing this game. As for now I dont think I want to start it over. Maybe in the future it will be worth play again.
Yes. You are right. Its not really finished and needs more like 3 years to finish. I am working with it alone. Not polished, too. But it will be. I didn't like energy system in other games. But I found out, that without the energy system is much worse. You can't stop playing because there are no daily action limits. Player thinks that during night anyone with more time can destroy him if no daily limits. Player sees no edge of when he should go rest and get a real life :) And here is no monetization involved into this. Its not about to get more money. Its for a longer gameplay. If there is no actions limit, players will play for much shorter.
And I think someone has conquered your capital. So, you lost and your account deleted. After the next login you seen a new account.
Failry boring even for an idle game, but well done visually. If you planning on making content for this and expand it a little it actually could be worth spending time and maybe even money, but right now here is nothing to do. Also game have some problems after running for a while, It become unresponsive, spells cast dozen seconds later, animation lagging altho interface seems running and working normal. EXP and Anima per minute doesnt seem to match when it's not idle. All and all game is decent, but not really shine in a sea of tonns of other empty idle games. Also to those who woundering Instant EXP and Anima Packages is equal 3, 8 and 24 hours of idle.
I like those types of games, and this one seems to be quality one but there seems to be A LOT of problems in it that really drives me nuts. Game feels really laggy, a lot of actions take times to process and this few extra seconds on every button click pile up into insane amount of time. Also talking about time, Adventure timer desync for some reason by opening adventure manualy you see minutes of difference in quick quest like 20-25 minutes, hard to imagine how bad it is with long quests. Clicking "finish" button after speeding up something makes no sence. And I've been playing only for few hours. I understand this game is old but there is a lot of thing that you couldnt possibly not notice, so my guess is that noone really want to fix them, which is kinda sad, I would really like to enjoy it for some time, but I feel like dropping it after few days because of those things.
After reaching day 104 my game suddenly freezed entire browser tab and only tab, not browser itself. Kinda sad since not a single problem with game difficulty has been met up untill this point but I really dont want to replay this for a numerous reasons. There is no sound, there is no save feature, so you forced to hotsit it, no challange has been met at all and few other staff like text size/quality while zoomed off, scrolling speed, wierd lags and delays and so on. Overall I enjoyed this game, but those things make this game not enjoyable to replay.
Sad to hear this! I'm working on a settings panel to be able to disable animations etc. to prevent this. Sound is planned! A save feature is also planned, but more for a standalone version. What was the issue with scrolling speed?
So, now that the event is over I can say with 100% certanity that it was impossible or extremelly near impossible to complete without spending crystals to at least refill resources. Not only you have to not to sleep, or set timer for this thing, you have to nonstop harvest resources from attack and pray for easy to steal bases. I was 5 stars away at the end while spending entire weekend on it. Looking by time to last upgrades you need 17 hours ouf of 48 for last HQ and storages. So, my guess is that you have to start to build storages and HQ as soon as previous required building is completed, which you cant, you still need to fill storage after it complition to start leveling HQ. I always hear this "You can achieve everythyng without donate, donate only speed up progress", well then, I am sorry, but now this is prooved to be straight up lie. You CANT complete operation without spending crystals. That was HUGE disappointment.
Returned into this game after more then a year after it poped up on front page of Kong. Have few complaings. 1) Walls require building drone despite building instantly. Two options: Waste one drone for being available all the time just for walls, or being locked without opportunity to upgrade walls for 2 weeks. 2) Losing attacks now doesnt punish you, so you can free raiders spamm everywhere, lose attack but stole all the resources for no cost of time or energy, abusable and makes no sence. 3) Watch other's replays in Raid. So last time I played I noticed that there was some setup of raids, they start to repeat at some point, and when people just happend to learn patterns that top players uses and recreate them it destroy ANY competitive in Raids what so ever. I had some more to complain about but dont really remember right now. Rip english and sorry for bothering you with some walls of babyrage. <3
1)Walls were always requiring a drone, someone have to build them anyway. I'll pass the idea of pausing construction to game designers, to switch drones on a different process, just got it on my mind. 2)Don't see a problem there, you need resources - you go and steal them. Little punishment stil exists - construction times. 3)You can't really copy the tactic 100%, algorithm duplicates a random base from the database which has a high defense ratio, also replays only available after the raid is finished.
Chests tip stack on the screen almost after every chests opening, and if you have no chests to open you have basically no way to remove this tip from the screen except reload game.
Which chest tip are you talking about? Like the tutorial for when you get a chest? Or something else? Can you email a screenshot to crusaders@codenameentertainment.com ?
Some 3 stars scores is a bit too high, if devs get lucky with patterns and set 3 star score depends on this it doesnt mean that this is score fit to the level. Some 3 stars being hit in first-second try, others take literally hour. Also sometimes game give you patterns that you cant possibly complite and fail the level because of it. But over all good simple time killer.
Good and simple game to complete in hour or so. But honestly, ranged units is basicly worthless here. Jesters that remove 70% dodge is basicly only thing that ranged units can do, maybe one mage can be considered to explose fat packs of luberthrowers in act 3, but everything else is being done by tonns of melee units and potato showers into necromancers and wandering souls.
Game have few minor bugs and not so clear how upgrades from lower level buildings works with higher level (Or is it just waste of gold?), so I guess everyone here was rushing into last level units to be sure.
Overall for being not "donate, purchase, crystals, boosts, vip, energy and stuff" kind of game it is preety well done.
Bumble Bee booster have totally wrong numbers on it. I have +800% bumblebee and its give exactly +100% range and nothing more. Is this a bug, or wrong item descrition? By testing it a bit, I guess its exactly +8 tiles and not +800%.
A user provided this explanation and I like it: "I did a check on the Enhancement Range and the numbers are absolute increase in numbers of ticks from the edge of the building. Example: Covfefe shop has 8 ticks of coverage ( 4 tick = one big square in length) and with "600%" the edge is 14 ticks ( 8+6), "800%" = 8+6 = 16, "1000%"" = 8+10 = 18 etc. I.e the "math" is that one Tick = 100%"
Great music, great game. Overall difficulty times and times lower then almost every other bullet hell game, which is actually good thing in this case, we want to relax, listen a good music and get some action instead of raging about bullet patterns, learn them and cry in comments about insane difficulty and unreachable badges. It have some minor problems, like no way to change volume of the game, also I had few input lags, and one small visual bug on a map, yet I rated it as 5. Simple, short and enjoyable. Excellent done.
The idea is not really bad, arts is actually good but there is nothing to do in this game, it feels empty. And as I can see its "reset" kinda game, which is worst possibly thing can be done to any game ever. Also there is no sound (or is it just me?). Overall good idea, good realisation but very little gameplay. I understand that almost all of those kinds of games made only for make some money, but there is some potential here, and I wish creator to make something worth playing, maybe some rpg, since you already have some tools for it.
To those who want to play this game with mouse a little advice -> Change your windows (or whatever) cursor to large size black one with white outline + change your link cursor to the same one.
Alright, I finally achieved impossible badge with mouse style. I am super proud of myself right now, but I have few complains. 90% on Eight Circles and 80% on Dash Hopes was not really hard, but Seven Circles is real overkill with those nonstop jumps and 9-12 spamms in a row. I was actually prepeared to some hell difficulty on Eight Circles that was unlocked, but it appear surprisingly easy and was completed in 10 attempts. Also this game have probem with music quality, which is hit ears hard (RotterDAMN Nations for example).
How exactly balance work in fleet raids? I have 8 purple hosts 80 lvl, all green escort lvl 50-60 and purple-red interseptors lvl 30-50 and I am constantly getting thrown into full lvl 100 immortals with 50-100 lvl interseptors or lvl 150-170 immortal capitals. Its already third day I cant beat anyone in fleet raid with my main fleet. is this should be this way?
