I honestly thought this site stopped publishing games. On a whim, I checked back in for old times' sake and was so surprised to see another Trader of Stories game had been released. I remembered playing the first one well over a decade ago and always got really excited when I saw another one on the front page here. Playing through this one took me back to a simpler time in my life when I had the time to play browser games all day and would occasionally stumble upon gems like this.
I'm so glad you guys are still working on these. The art music, characters, setting, and story are always beautiful. I really find myself sucked into the world you have created. You are really talented and I hope you find continued success and I can't wait for future installments. I'll have to give your Patreon a subscription so I don't have to stumble upon the next one by chance again!
I actually really like the concept but it's definitely frustrating how much luck is required to progress far. I think at least having another shop right before the gauntlet would make it better.
Never been happier to see a notification for a new game, I was truly worried this series was dead since it's been nearly 3 years.
Absolutely worth the wait. Story, music, artwork and world-building are exceptional. Chapter 1 was a hard act to follow up but I'm glad you took your time and made this one equal if not better than the first.
Now to wait for Chapter 3!
Been a fan of this series since it came out, the concept is really fun and I love the clue mechanic. Always makes my day when I see that there is a new ZS game up.
Only criticism I have with this one is the loading screen. When I see the zombie silhouette walking, I keep thinking that means the game is still loading. The transition between locations were much smoother in the previous games.
Still 5/5 and favourited, looking forward to the next one!
Thank you a lot, glad you had fun. And yeah, html5 means it needs more time to load each scene, the flash plugin was much quicker.. But flash will be completely abandoned in a few months, so there's no other way
Really liked the mechanic, don't think I've encountered it before. It's a nice little twist on most games where you get more abilities as you progress.
Challenging enough that I had to restart a fair few times but not so much that it had me frustrated or looking for a walkthrough.
Only real complaint is that it's a bit annoying that you have to select a mechanic to sacrifice before you can restart the level after hitting a flag since that's usually the point I realised I messed up!
Was a lot of fun 5/5
