@greatmanbear - it looks like you've got a max output of 32. You won't get above that, unfortunately. (Dang it, I think I could 'win' in survival mode if I could just get ALL The output of a half-map of reactors out to the mortars!)
?!? No. Just... no. Graphics? Lame. Gameplay? Nonexistent. Repeat fun? Oh, hell no. 1 of 5, only because you can't give 0. Run SETI@Home if you're desperate to waste processor cycles.
63,868,223 hits - and I think it would have kept going for another 12 hours w/no problems... Fun while you're arranging things - but then... 4 out of 5 - it would be nice to have some way to SELL the stuff you don't want any more!
Power's everything in this game. For the last level, use your collectors to build lines out to the trough at about 45 degrees off the centerline, then put in a blaster on the left and right. Add in a storage unit, and keep adding collectors until you can keep it reasonably full with a third blaster (either left or right) running. Then build a reactor. Wait for storage to recover. Build another reactor, build more storage, start building lots of reactors and storage all the while watching your power levels. When you're at about 10 power and 500-600 storage units - build a bunch of blasters and relays, then go up the middle. Squash the center w/a relay line and 4 blasters then pick off the sides, moving 3 blasters at a time. Fun! But watch your power, and don't forget the spores!
Well, shit! That was a fast play, kind of odd... Eh. 3 stars. Change it so gerbils get loose and you gotta get 'em all, it'd be better... unless you're a coprophagist in which case this'd be a 5... but I ain't so it's a 3.
Last level's not bad - run a string of collectors out to the left, build a storage unit, run parallel strips up either side of the center, watch the creeper levels in the trough, put two blasters off to the right, one to the left. Get the creeper stopped, then build reactors and storage, go up the middle... Fun! 5 stars!
