Overall the combat in this game is extremely repetitive. All you do is run, then turn and strike, then run, then turn and strike. Plus, the flying monster mechanic is very poorly made. They do massive damage. Also, there's no temporary invulnerability when you are hit, so multiple enemies can hit you all at once. Very difficult game, and not fun to grind it out.
Shields don't protect you from bosses that launch blades. You can't dodge, you can't shield, you can't survive. Halfway through this game the difficulty becomes absurd. Impossible. Silly. Nonsense.
This game is almost entirely luck-based. If you don't get the right weapon advancements, you simply CANNOT progress to the end. There's no going back, there's no going forward. Terrible game design.
The difficulty on this game is stupidly high, and you have to grind out losing missions FOREVER before you can progress. I'm not spending 20 hours playing a flash game. Insanity.
What is going on here? I get a shard, head home and face a creature who's far outside of my capability of beating. How can I kill a 2500 health creature, when I only deal 15 damage with my sword. Something's wrong with this game.
Some improvements: 1) As a monster, you need to be able to affect helicopters. 2) Units who are thrown underwater should not still be able to fire rockets at you. 3) Man needs some sort of signal for where the boosts land.
This game is really poorly designed. The enemy hitboxes are bigger than the actual sprites, while the boxes for the light pieces are tiny. The fact that you lose time for getting hit makes this game impossibly difficult. It's hard enough just losing life, but getting hit once or twice ends your level at harder difficulties. The bonuses are not anywhere near what you need to finish the levels, and the snake's movement is annoying beyond belief. Why does the tail stay immobile? why can't you retract it with LMB instead of this stupid "strike" mechanism. Terrible game.
This game is really great, and I'm loving it, but please PLEASE is there some way to change the "charge" attack, and make holding the LMB an "auto-fire" sword attack? I'm getting blisters!
the later stages in the game, along with backtracking bosses will give much better soulpoints. if i allow the endless mode to be farmed, the game would be a breeze.
You're not even supposed to kill him. Get him to 2100 health.
