It's been almost 15 years now. Sadly, I think he died.

I wish that this had never been given BOTD. I wasted days hoping to collect some new badges and after a restart, it's back at the beginning. There is no way to reclaim my levels. The creators with their pretentious grind requirements are morons.

In case anyone is still wondering how to scan: the scanbot is a robot with a green lens under the 'summon' menu. It costs one turn but scans all enemies on the screen.

Kongregate has an obscure link to homestarrunner.com on the hard badge achievement screen. Has anyone else seen this?

Thank you for this game. It was like revisiting my childhood. I miss the 1980's.

So, Walter has a dream wherein he realizes that he should seek to rebuild the relationships in his life and treasure that which is most important, but before he can benefit from this epiphany, he dies? After all of this maudlin sentimentality, pathos becomes bathos and I feel he would have accomplished more waiting for Godot.

Nice game, well done. Seems a little reminiscent of Mogadishu circa October 1993.
