Scratch that, I looked up the Winter 2014 anime list and that's when SPACE (star) DANDY came out. So this is the second-best anime of winter 2014.

You know, it's weird. I was a Private at the start of the game, but I was still a one star general that entire time too. How does that work? Also, where are our medics?

The realization that something had gone horribly wrong in the world without my interface changing whatsoever to reflect that fact was a simultaneously positively shocking and negatively jarring effect. My progress was not stymied in the slightest by the event in question. I kind of wonder why?

Day 200 of my trek through the endless heart of the mountain. The stone, the precious metal, even the mystical eggs that give me strength lie forgotten by the wayside. The useless mathematics that were distracting my brain have betrayed me, and lie far behind me as well. All that matters now, all that perhaps has ever mattered, is my own building experience. My experience is what drives me ever deeper, deeper through the darkness of the mountain. It is only experience that I will bring out the other side.

First thing's first: Your game needs a few things to be up to Kongregate's standards for any game at all. It needs: A pause function that isn't "End Game"; A mute function; Some way to see your progress (points/high scores, a system of levels/waves, something). Once you've got those things squared away, you can start looking at the inspiration of the game. You've got what seems to be a twin-stick shooter set up going on, which is great, and there are a lot of great games on Kongregate that have this style. If you haven't played through them yet, I suggest Death vs. Monstars, Boxhead the Zombie Wars, Zunderfury, Dodge, Amorphous+, and Bubble Tanks. Those games may give you additional ideas about things to put in your game to make it extra. Certainly you should work out your bugs, but there's also so much room to expand.

thank you for all the great suggestions. I am working on a pause button, a new menu system, new game modes, a shop system where you can buy new weapons and power ups, new types of enemies, a campaign mode with a story and a leader board system. Thanks again.( this may take me some time because i am 14 years old and have to study for school so I am only working in my spare time.)

Remember folks, it takes approximately $10,000 to build a bank. I should be doing that myself.

There is a reason why most bosses that have mob waves in the middle of their fight do so based on the boss's HP, or time elapsed in fight. If I only have a small amount of time to deal damage to the boss, fine. I'm okay with that. But having to fight over 600 enemies in a single encounter before I can even bring the boss down 1/2 their HP feels less "difficult" and more cheap. Even during its most difficult challenges, games are still supposed to be fun. This turns into a slog. Gotta vote down.

You know, if you just followed the river to that little town, you could have cut straight across to the evil lair thing and you'd have had a lot less trouble with all these brigands.

Remember, folks. Autoclickers aren't cheating, they're saving the health of your hands. Use them freely. Your hand is more important than the high score of a game.

You know, as a guard here? The first time I turned around and found a statue five inches away from my face, forget Faust. Forget this dungeon. I'm out. Goodbye.

I enjoyed playing a single level of several other puzzle games on Kongregate strung together like this. Getting the efficient space puzzle to work in RPG maker must have been rather difficult.

I really wish I liked icy floor push block puzzles.

Look at how far this series has come. Play this and then the most recent Papa's game. The later ones are so much more complex, so much more a game than this. I might not like this series, but I can give credit where it's due at least.

This is the type of game where the earliest levels should have been the hardest to beat, but that gets considerably easier as the game progresses. What's the point in playing a giant boss monster with huge jumping powers and fireballs if I die in a single hit to an enemy that should be fighting for his very life at every moment? I feel more powerful when I'm playing as the axe throwing enemies than when I'm playing as the 'final boss' and that makes me dislike this game.

This kind of looks like it's trying to be a Nerdook game.
