LOL. I love that you name-checked "Chaorrupted" in the end game achievement. In a way that shows the limitation of excluding "days of completion" from launch games...they turn out to be pretty easy.
Minor observation: One of the in-game "hints"is phrased in such a way that could really confuse a lot of players ( I know it confused me). I talking about the one that urges you to "buy levels as soon as possible." Of course, there are no levels to "buy"in the game, so I assume that it is referring to the weapon upgrades. I actually panicked for a second thinking that there were more levels out there that I needed to buy instead of just hitting "retry"every time.
This is should be a minor fix....I'll try to comment once I finish the game though...really good so far.
UpStream: As far as I can tell, you need to kill two critters in order to beat that level (that's how i did it anyway...maybe there's a better way).
Just finished the game...pretty fun. It must be said however, that the most enjoyable levels are the ones that do not rely on the gimmick of killing your critters on purpose. Nothing wrong with that...but it definitely is a little confusing when you enter the game thinking that it is a going to be based around the concept of sacrificing critters to pass levels. (At one point towards the end of the game, I had to check the instructions because I'd forgotten the button that committed seppuku!! Wasn't that supposed to be the game's signature move? In any case, I barely used it.) Overall, however, this is a very enjoyable game and definitely worth a playthrough.
this is a fun idea but why make it so hard? Also, why do you make the retart process anything less than immediate on a game where you'll die constantly?
