The problem with enjoying a medium is if you partake enough, you eventually get to a point where you've basically seen it all and cynicism sets in. You stop caring about the story, or the art or the gameplay and are just rushing through to get the achievements and add another notch to your gamers belt. The offset to that is sometimes, despite all the hipsterish genre savvy and cynicism, something comes along that really just resonates correctly and all the layers and opinions just melt away for one, perfect, fleeting moment.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, this is the first game in a long time that ended with an honest smile on my face. 5/5, I look forward to your next project.
