The ending isn't too satisfying and I feel like metroidvania is being used a bit loosely here, given there's only 2 power-ups. Regardless, it's a pretty good game.
I like this game. My only problem is that the money you get from bosses seem to be tied to the bosses themself and not the difficulty. It's a little annoying to fight the first or second boss in endless mode only to get, say, ~$50
I agree with everyone else. Wants to be fun, but after the first few upgrades, the cost scales so quickly without getting enough funds fast enough that it just quickly becomes a boring grind.
It's kinda fun. It has its obvious flaws. One thing I hate is how damage is unavoidable, so your HP is essentially a really annoying timer(the sound effects are really grating after a bit). Also, in game instruction would've helped a lot.
hiya, the concept came from playing with physics, so the graphics and spawning were secondary concerns and made for 480 x 320. It was an experiment and I thought I'd use it to see how the kongregate upload works too - clicking on the the side of the box for spawn direction would be much better for the intricate levels. Thanks for the feedback
Fun little game with neat graphics. I wish there was a bit more about the controls, as it took me a couple of tries to figure out boost was the only way to move. Also, the shoot button become the boost button when you accidentally boost into an enemy is a bit weird. Especially since it isn't mentioned in the simple instruction screen. Pretty nice, but could use some tweaking. 3/5
The music is boring, first off. Secondly, when I hit play after the game loads, the main menu appears for a split second, before becoming the loading screen again. Multiple tries to get into the game accomplished nothing, so I cannot give a rating.
