There's a movie, I think it was aimed at a younger audience, but it was too messed up to be some kids movie, kinda like Coraline? Anyway, there's a movie I used to love when I was younger that uses the same form of art that Daymare Cat uses. The lead character was a girl, and a cat had a significant role in the movie. Also, the movie's cityscape was a lot similar to this one, weird and nightmarish? Or Daymarish.
