... still in place, though the money's still in place and still growing as well. Is there any way I could maybe provide more info, like sending in my export save code to you guys?
Um, "cash earned" and "all time cash earned" seem to be bugged right now - "all time" is at $149.816 nonillion, yet I have 449 nonillion on hand, and growing. There's clearly a discrepancy somewhere here, and I'm pretty sure it'd affect the AI count.
... thinking about it, I had quite a boost when I reopened the tab after a few hours this session, so I'm going to see what happens if I reopen the game.
Something that would be nice - I'd like to see a few, sparing permanent upgrades that could be purchased as a one-time deal. For example, the Angel Investor upgrades could be permanent upgrades for getting far enough along in capitalism as we go. Another one that'd be nice: a purchasable upgrade that starts us out at 25 of everything, of 50 of everything, etc upon resetting. It'd be nice to remove some of those initial starting clicks once we have tons of angel investors; even if I had to pay through the nose for it in game, it's worth it for the quality-of-life it gives on each restart. (And it adds no benefit whatsoever toward the run I purchase it in.)
Aww... nothing special for actually slaying the dragon during dungeon crawl mode? (Same ending as regular game mode.)
And for anyone wondering, that +2 hp/empty tile item really helped there. That, and backing out before dying, of course.
I can confirm that there is one aquamarine in one of the Aeropolis shops. Keep in mind that there's a peddler with a shop in the way lower-left of the first screen of the city, as well as other peddlers throughout the city. I don't recall which had it, but it is there. Keep searching and talk to everyone.
I had a ... slightly interesting solution for the last star on level 5. I used that last light cube as a body shield!
Since you can take a few hits, you have just enough time to hide again should the physics decide to rob you of your shield. Rinse + repeat and you can work your way close enough to grab that last star and make it out of there like a bandit.
My main trick with level 13 (I think) was to use mostly concentrated firepower - read: maximally upgraded gun towers - and one cannon tower upgraded -just- far enough to make it ice elemental.
On the gun towers, I think I had a single one shadow elemental, while the rest were pure upgrades.
You might need to sell towers at the very end to move them further down to kill the last "tank" creep.
I gotta admit, I'm loving the changes you've made since that Beta run. And a few tips I've noted that may help speed runners:
1) Sword jumping - you can swing your sword while in mid-air, and if you time it right, you can land on top of an enemy, kill it, and not take damage - VERY handy for killing certain obstructing turrets.
2) In room 1_11, I believe it is, when you've finally flipped the switch, you CAN make that moving platform back toward the right side if you don't hesitate and just run at it - trust me. That can EASILY save 1/2 a minute, at the least, because the other necessary platform will be ready for you quickly, instead of having just missed it and having to wait on its return.
*sigh* Unfortunately, I don't have the kind of platforming boss experience this game is asking of me, so it'll take me a good while to finally perfect taking the boss down.
And yeah... that S rank looks pretty ridiculous... especially if the creator *poke poke* hasn't gotten it yet!
