All in all, it feels like the only way I could progress at this point is spending hundreds of $$$ on mtx... which is very annoying. If that's intentional, then that's awful. If it's not, then the game really needs to be rebalanced
This game is fun at first, but quickly gets extremely slow and frustrating. 1. The price of artifacts is insane. Who in their right mind is going to spend $50 - $250 per artifact? The price for all of the mtx stuff is crazy.
2. Challenges seem to be balanced around completing all the contracts, but give prestige to unlock the contracts. What is the point of them, then?
3. Starting a challenge resets your waste, slowing down the next few normal rounds significantly.
4. Progression just slows to a crawl after a few days and the game starts to feel pointless to continue playing. I'm at the point where I can unlock warlocks, but why would I spend a week getting energy to get enough dark mana to unlock them? I have no idea what kind of mechanics they add.
5. Pearls can be completed in a day or two, so that's another avenue of progression that ends way too early.
6. Offline progression is bad and doesn't progress most aspects of the game.
The freedom to solve the puzzles the way you want is really nice. It'd be really cool to have a level designer where you can construct your own levels and then have your friends try to beat it. Or just some more levels made by you guys! Thanks for the game!
It's a decent game, relies a bit too much on customization and options which makes it a bit complicated though. The concept is good, and the idea of having force, trade, and culture influence what relationship you have with npc systems is pretty good to. The problem for me is that it feels like half a game rather than an entire game. If you want empire management for the sake of empire management that is fine though. It's just missing something for me to deal with how complicated it gets, specifically technology. Technology just seems a bit messy, it's all over the place with dozens of different effects. For instance just with wealth there is increasing core wealth, total wealth, reducing footprint, and then increasing or decreasing effects for various buildings also. The game needs a more simplified way to navigate the tech tree and see how each technology will effect your empire. I can think of a couple of different ways to achieve that.
I've been playing this almost since it started beta on kong. It's a truly fantastic game. The developer is active and committed to bettering it with consistent and quality updates. He listens to the community and does things that are requested. Although it's 100% free to play and there's nothing pushing you to spend money, it's one of the only games on kong that I've found worthy of paying to.
Does anyone know if the +1 to pet training for the stable applies to pet food? Or does anything increase the effectiveness of pet food? Trying to decide whether or not I should hold on to it.
Super fun game, 5/5 :) A cool idea might be the ability to fuse spells. Also, endless mode is a bit too... endless. After I hit thirty minutes I realized it wasn't going to get any more difficult. Overall though it's one of my favorite games I've played on here, keep up the awesome work!
This is probably the most aggravating game I have played in my entire life. No offense to those of you who enjoy it... but I just don't understand how. I played it for about 4 hours and I simply can't win anything now because I refuse to spend money for a game like this. I've looked around quite a bit but is there an easier way to earn points for cards or something? Because I'm literally at a loss as to how people play this game.
Bug Report: Scroll bars are messed up. If you take an action after scrolling down the bar goes back to the top, meaning you have to scroll back down again in order to use something next to the object you just used.
A bit disappointed by this. The first two games were incredible, but this one doesn't hold a candle to them. It's still enjoyable, but it's got far too many problems. It's unbalanced, gaining 5-10 levels per battle, for example. It's hard to understand what exactly is going on sometimes. Certain things are too simplistic (runes, equipment) while other things are unnecessarily complicated (troops, some aspects of equipment). Overall I'd give it a 6-7/10. Don't be discouraged and keep making incredible games! :)
Great game! I was also very impressed that the developer responded so well to feedback and made fixes where they were necessary (coin collector for example). Keep up the great work!
A simple yet incredibly enjoyable game! More customization would be nice, maybe introduce weapons and armor? The style and animation are very appealing as well! 5/5 :)
I just equiped my axe on my head... huh. lol try putting a piece of equipment into the correct slot and then drag them to one that doesn't belong on that slot. glitt-ttt-ttttt-ttttch.
Just max out all the spells, mp things, goblin health, and elementals. Send in 2 elementals around the middle of your group of golbins and you'll have no problem with any of the levels. Stun the worst of the towers, quake every once in a while, and heal when neccesary.
lenias, I had the same problem. I think it goes away with the history. Im not completly sure, but my computer had it set so it instantly deleated history, but I changed it and now it saves.
Officially out of beta :D
