Slashy, shashy! Big ol' bug if you happen exit the second you get zapped by the wizard, and that log puzzle can got to hell, but otherwise this was ok.
This game is great. You must have played a LOT of Fez and Super Meat Boy to be inspired to create this. I'd say this controls better than Fez, but that's just me. I would have appreciated a save point right before the big wall, though. I hit the water on the way down and it put me all the way back to the last save spot. That was definite "flip the table and say f*ck it" territory for me. Otherwise, you could have gotten me to pay money for this game. Well gone, gents/ladies/cats/dogs/whatever.
1) If the game happens to generate, and I subsequently pick up, a spell book as I am heading into a boss fight, I wish that would effect continue. Sure, it's a balance argument, but it's kinda BS given the bullet hell nature of this game.
Five stars, hands-down. This gae had me hooked for the better part of a Saturday and here I find myself coming back for more. The cash microtransactions, if they're even there, are non-obvious, so no neon finger-sign saying "To win, buy this". Can't wait for more maps and more hats.
I think I just effed myself squarely in the butt. I lost my first battle, but instead repairing I upgraded the hull (thinking that was repair since I'm an idiot). Now, every time I sail to Cancun, it's an auto-fail and I'm out one GP. THEN, just to see if I could, I sold my ship. Turns out you can. Now I'm about 20 GP shy of rebuying the skiff. So, I can't do a bloody thing.
The bladed guys are a little OP. Once they gang up on your wall in a group of about five or six its practically over when you're using the Agent (who honestly has god awfully slow progression).
Well, they are like zerglings in starCraft (or, even, zerglings with glands). If you manage to shoot them before they reach the base, everything is ok, but as they reach your base, the HP starts dropping. Just don't underestimate them and kill them in time and everything will be ok
I was hooked until I ran into the ubiquitous platform problem of "Hey, I pressed jump, why didn't you effing jump?!" That was a dealbreaker for me. Still gave it Five, though. It's an awesome game.
This is how you get the special zombies. Do what is shown here and you will be unstoppable! Mwahaha! Nice to see that this game made it over here to the K. Having first played this on that other site (that shall remain nameless) I was disappointed to see that the kibosh got put on the card art. I thought it was cool. Anyway, nice little CCG-sim. Like the Lovecraftian motif. I say 5/5.
The collision detection on this game it TERRIBLE. You be a full dog' length away and still get game over. Not to mention there is no indication of when you ARE big enough to eat the bigger dogs. At least with the other games your length increases.
We understand the confusion surrounding the two games, but as people in Facebook threads like to say, we were "first". :)
