Flame towers are WAY too good. They make all other towers except frost unnecessary. Try taking away the cumulative damage effect from them and up the damage per second. Once I got a couple flame towers set up with high range and rate, they seriously killed everything from level 25 on before passing through 1/3 of the map. Maybe reduce the range limit on them so they can't target as much, too.
There should be a limit on how many times you can offer a draw to someone. I had an opponent keep clicking the draw button on my turn and it virtually makes you accept the draw; you don't have enough time to move between the constant draw offering and your time still runs. A big flaw that needs to be fixed, imo.
This game is one of the best I have played on kongregate. Reminds me of the way games used to be made--when there was actually a challenge to them. Keep up the good work and thanks for the game.
boom: That wa a cheap way to add "replay" value. Real replay value comes from wanting to play a game again to complete it again. I would never put myself through the monotonous grinding to beat this game again after doing all it has to offer-which doesn't take long to see.
It really disgusts me that this game has such a high rating. There is absolutely NO replay value to this game. The fact that this game was rated so highly seriously sickens me. There is nothing to this simple game. This just goes to show the type of crowd kongregate developers should try and appeal to if they want their games highly rated.
If a sequel to this game is ever made it should emphasize harder levels. larger levels with more actions/second needed to complete the level would make this game more compelling in the long run. I found myself being able to beat every level rather easily and found them all SO easy i couldnt distinguish whether later levels were getting harder or not.
This game would be great if the physics didn't change after different attempts. It seems that if I change something on one bridge, another which worked before will not. For me this took away all want to play beyond level 10--If a bridge works once with x going over it, then it should work every time with x going over it.
After all the Beta versions I am surprised this game plays this badly. A good tower defense game has optimal strategy/strategies that need to be implemented throughout the ENTIRE game. After round 6 or so of every area I was able to just put it on auto-wave and simply build snipers ANYWHERE I wanted to(I built them up front just to speed up the killing) and killed everything within seconds. Not to say this game can't be fun, but it needs some serious rethinking on gameplay.
