This game is very much like Homeworld. However, the engine does not support commanding your own vehicle. Don't see the point of missiles as they don't hit their targets much. That said, don't see the point of the higher level targeting either. Beam weapons for the win. Should allow you to stack energy modules tho... to allow for better energy regen.
I've been playing this game to see a lot of potential with it, but the hardest part is the waiting for all the animations particularly for the buffs/debuffs. The repetition gets to you especially when doing the survival mode. There is a timer and because the game has memory leak, it lags out and gets slower and slower. Then if you have to refresh, you lose ALL your progress as well. I'm sorry but can't really get into what really feels like a half finished game. The story and graphics were quite impressive to start with, but the options to customise what you see and the play of the game is just not there.
