Wash the entire kitchen – from the sink to the floor. Remember to only use cleaning solutions apposite to the material of your sink, floor and countertop. For example, a homemade solution consisting equal parts of water and bleach, plain white vinegar or fresh lemon juice may not be suitable for marble surfaces. The acidic content of these chemicals could damage the said type of surface. Moreover, if you would use store-bought solution, be sure to pick the one that does not have strong odors. This is vital so you would not have to wait for a whole day till the smell goes away before putting back your kitchen stuff.
