Pretty decent game. Very different. Just completed all the badges.
For anyone having trouble with the hard badge, it is all about just keeping one corner very secure. I didn't use any real pattern, just lots of making webs everywhere I can. Eat the fireflies and queen bee's immediately. Just keep one corner secure and expand on it when you can. I probably had 1/4 of the screen full of my web at all times. Finally the bat ran into it and BAM! 4/5
Great game, good concept. Brings back the good 'ol SNES days. My single only complaint is the high amount of random fights. Please turn it down a bit for future chapters. 4/5
Pretty fun game, although once you get past a certain point (4 or 5 cities captured) you pretty much go into ezmode. I just spent a bunch of money one time buying elite units and was good the entire rest of the game. The random running into rogues gets really annoying late game too.
One thing that annoyed me was the click and drag for everything. When you just wanna buy 30 units it takes forever. Or selling your entire inventory (after you've picked out the good stuff to wear) just takes soooo long. A 'sell all' option would be great, as well as a buy X amount of unit.
Overall, not bad, just needs some polishing. 3/5
The game is just too repetitive. The fact that there isn't a built in auto fire function is just ridiculous. If it wasn't for the glitch there is no way I would have played the entire game. Also, the last monster is hugely over powered. The game goes from way too easy to way too hard there. There needs to be more of a curve.
However, the game is still fairly fun. Hopefully a sequel is made with these kinks in it. 2/5
Way too many issues in this game that make it more frustrating than fun.
Your reach vs. enemy reach. They seem to have a much bigger reach. They always get the stun, they can hit you when you can't hit them.
Stunning. Way too powerful and too long. You get 2+ guys and you're basically done. Turning around is also a huge issue when fighting multiple guys. Or when they're right on you.
Archers hitting you out of screen. There isn't a defense for it, it is just losing life for no reason.
Can't control what type of attacks you do. It seems totally random. You can either get lucky and get a 1 hit kill or sometime get a 4-5 hit kill. That can make all the difference. Combine this with the stunning issue and it becomes extremely frustrating.
After playing the game a bit more, I have a few major complaints.
The money... Why can you only collect it when it finished bouncing? Very annoying. And why does the money disappear? If it is going to disappear I should be able to get it as soon as it pops up.
The screen is way too small. There needs to be a full screen option or something.
The "grab boxes" for people, especially on big maps when everything gets smaller, is too small. This can very annoying and frustrating.
Also, after a while my wrist starts to hurt from the flicking. Give an option to just press space maybe or something to shoot them up a bit?
Great game, 5/5. Lots of replay value, good combination of strategy and skills.
However, the impossible badge is just crazy. You basically have to beat the game 3 times. That isn't the issue, the issue is how much time it would take to do it. 60 points just isn't worth it.
Decent game. Music is brilliant for the game. My only issue is the lack of flexibility you have to use different strategies to defeat apocalypse mode. That really needs to be adjusted.
The game starts off pretty good. Well programmed and the you can tell a lot when into it. That is why it hurts to say the game isn't that great. Levels 4 and 5 are pretty hard, especially level 5. And I've given up killing (what I hope is) the last boss. Having to start all over again and again is just getting tiresome and not worth the 30 points at this point. Add in more check points, turn down the difficulty a little on the last level and shorten it just a bit. 1/5 for pure frustration.
