also, if you are confused on any elements in the game, there is a green house that's right below your starting home, which tells you about how to use the items you have already found, and general info like how to use potions, etc.
for those asking how to sharpen their sword: you can't. What the game means when it says your sword isn't sharp enough is that you need a different weapon, say, like the hammer found in the last level of the mines. You then just switch your weapon to the hammer when in the mayor's house, and switch it back to sword in mines. You switch your weapon with numbers: 1 = sword, 2 = hammer, 3 = magic wand thingy (only hardmode/full game)
@FarFromGruntled it's not an error. There are some things in game that give free buildings which you don't have to buy. However these don't actually count for achievements because you technically didn't buy them yourself.
@wjyg fr tho all of the badges need to be upped a grade. Although getting to day 4 isn't hard, it isn't easy, it should be at least worth a medium badge. And the two medium badges are both hard/time consuming to get.
I don't particularly dislike this genre of game, in fact I like MMO's and idle games. However playing these games for a badge of the day EVERY SINGLE DAY isn't very fun. Please stop focusing on only one genre of game.
One thing that annoys me is that even if one of your enemies is good friends with you and has a green happy face, they will still attack you and try to take your land. Tried as an experiment to end the level with one enemy becoming an ally, with me not taking any of their territory but it didn't work. Bro smiled and showed hearts while taking my land.
