Very nice game 5/5.
Only one thing that makes me wonder: in containment mode it is most effective if you are NOT effective. The more points you score the faster comes the next level (and the game over). If you wait every turn until the multiplier goes down to 1 you always have enough time to remove all dangerous tiles. This is not very motivating. Wouldn't it be better to have some kind of block-counter? For example you get 3 blocks until the next level comes. This counter is reduced every time you fail to get a combo. If you get a combo of 5 or more tiles you could get some additional tiles. Just an idea from a guy who doesn't know anything about making computer games ;-) But anyway: it's a lot of fun like it is :-)
Thank you! Yea, I've been experimenting a lot with that game mode. The current goal is pretty much to contain your explosions as much as containing the size of the orb (levels) while trying to get as far as possible. It's pretty much unbalanced at the moment though and lacks some core features, like bombs and such. I'm going to bring the game down for a while to re-work pretty much everything and when it comes back up again it will be a whole new beast of a game, i assure you, hehe. I've got a new graphics tech that makes it run about 10x faster for instance. ;)
