I recommend you don't use ctrl to boost while using teh wads keys for driving, makes it really easy to press ctrl w and close the game.

Something that I find useful when playing on hard is to get 3 maxed out banana research facilities. This way I have at least 90k spare to prepare for the ZOMG.

Tip for beating the timed achievements: Place Jackon down at the beginning and use all of your virus bursts while the timer is frozen to save about 5 seconds.
