Nice fun little game! Reminds me of other neat puzzle games from Kong's prime. It's the right level of challenging and some levels require some thought, but nothing too crazy.
I reset the raid multiple times to redo battles 1-20 until I got enough character cards to recruit more party members. Rinse and repeat until I could do battle 30, 40, etc. just from using the gold for winning battles to power up. The rogue limited event was very helpful with getting money and hero cards too. Still, it's quite grindy and I did it while watching a show in another window.
I suddenly thought of this game today and replayed it to after the fire scene. I still wish there was an alternate ending for being cold to Ugo and interested in Scath. It just feels like there was too much work put into the dialogue 'paths' for there not to be.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It's beautifully written, great job! I love visual novels, especially ones that have different paths and unique dialogue for absolutely everything. It's a bit disappointing that there's only one ending. I would've loved a short second or 'bad' ending with Scath. (spoiler?) If you don't show interest in Ugo or staying in Bark, show full interest in Scath, don't bring the sword, don't make the explosive, and obediently sit there waiting, it seems quite out of character for an intelligent guy like him to still pull the sword out. At that point, he doesn't have any reason to distrust you and knows you love him. It'd make more sense for him to just coax you into telling him everything you know.
Amazing game that I felt deep within me. I replayed multiple times hoping to hit all the 'right' choices to prevent... the bathroom scene in the first place (as a secret fifth ending). I'm starting to feel like that's not an option but if it is, it's proving quite difficult to achieve.
Yay for a good old-fashioned murder case. Loved every second of it! It's always a nice touch when every interaction/description has its own unique dialogue.
This episode was my first exposure to this series thanks to the "Best of 2017" event early this year. I sped through it and didn't really understand what was going on, but I loved what I saw. Since then, I played the games in order from the beginning and now I've finally come back to this one. I finished it just now and I'm sure I have a greater appreciation for it than the first time I played. <3
I finally finished hardcore mode! I loved all the little details that were included that I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't had to restart as many times as I did. The only thing is I panicked at the barrier getting vulnerable and was worried that if Vorag broke out, it would be an automatic game over, so I skipped a lot of enemies in the final area. I hoped I could have continued the game and cleared everything else but it's okay. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. :D
