I have played this game for more than a year now. I liked it despite alle the negative p2w comments. You can get quite a long way, if you are patient, play on a regular basis and use the events (which are there every two weeks) to your advantage. I got to league 2 without ever paying a dime. Still I'm quitting. Not because I grew tired of the game. It's because the devs keep screwing up. Almost every update results in the game crashing, leaving players missing events and stuff. No help from the helpdesk at all, except a 'we're sorry for the inconvenience' message. Sorry guys, up your standards, then create a game.
OMG, so good of Kong to bring this game back to attention with a badge of the day. One of the best games ever ever on Kong, in my opinion. Such detail, such layered gameplay. 6/5 !!!
Game gets way too laggy. In lvl 5, with too many enemies on screen, he sometimes refuses to follow the cursor for two, three seconds. Pretty tough to beat a bullet hell game that way...
Nice concept, but somehow it feels like all I do is press 1 to use the health potion and check the inventory to sell useless equipment. Too grindy for me...
I had a great time replaying this game. For the third time... :) Says enough about the quality and the playability of this game, if you ask me.
I can only hope that there will be a Cactus McCoy 3 someday.
Quite frustrating to only get to choose between a 200 silver, 400 silver, 1 star, mortar and snake tower after having completed all 75 hard waves on lvl 17. Why not increase the odds to get an epic card after having done this?
I think the magma pool actually slows down the enemy, as it says, but I don't think it does any damage. Although the card description says it does. Bug...?
Minor bug: I went back to the title screen, only to get stuck in an endless loop of VEX3 logo building up and moving up. No big deal, just a minor issue I guess.
For those of you who wonder how to get all 64 achievements:
1) Make 1 septillion candies 2) Make 1 quadrillion jellies per second 3) Use the elevator 500x 4) Upgrade all floors to level 300 5) Visit the achievement room100x 6) Visit the stat room 100x 7) Sacrifice 1 trillion jellies 8) Get 1 million chocolate bars.
