That was a fun experience. If nothing else, you got me interested in the setting you've begun to establish. Admittedly, I'm a little disappointed that there's no secret way to take the "correct" route on level 8. Would've been interesting to see the opposite spin (pun intended) on the apparent rivalry between the AI and the cat.
Continuously moving into a pair of portals (that is, by holding down a single arrow key) has the rather amusing side effect of sometimes causing the white square to hide inside a wall until you press the opposite movement key to pop out. Please never fix this.
That was... an interesting experience. I'm impressed that you were able to set such a bewildering mood in so little time and with so few assets. Very much looking forward to anything else you come out with, and 5 well earned stars for you!
This is definitely an Occam's Razor sort of game. The simplest, fastest solution is the best one. Splatting glooples is the only scoring means of disposal, but there are several safer, non-scoring means that are easy to perform given the right circumstances. Torchie? Make it run off-screen. Queen? Run her over with a grinder. Amalgam? Freeze and break. You might not get any points, but THESE are the solutions that will keep you alive.
The "No Orb Left Behind" badge is nothing but a delicacy badge. It's not all that difficult as far as requiring skill, it's just a matter of being very, very careful. Keep that in mind if you attempt it.
(Gets to end, reaches house.) *ding-dong* Man: Yes?
Runner: Pizza delivery!
Man: Oh, darn, forgot to stop by the ATM this morning. Can you come back later?
Runner: Aww... s***.
To all of those saying "Whoa, you made this in two days? ZOMG!" You must keep in mind that he made Endeavor first. This had the same control scheme, graphics, dialogue setup, and player character, so it was probably a breeze. Still, pretty decent, if short.
Seems more like a demo than a game, but good for what it is. Definitely fix the camera issue in the future, though, and a few spelling corrections wouldn't hurt.
Glad you liked it! I'll try to have alternate paths in my next games, they could be quite interesting. :)
