There is an issue with the game that I can't seem to track down at the time. I'm sorry but I'll have to fix it once I have the time to really get to the bottom of this. Until then, Safari users (among others) might have to enable third-party cookies to be able to play the game.
Also, I think making it slightly inconvenient to use an item on an object is necessary, otherwise it's too easy to pick up an item and click on everything on the screen till something works. Furthermore I enjoyed that there were come "red herrings" like the calendar and the spring.
The game is essentially perfect. Not sure why others are complaining. The whole point of this game genre is to do some trial and error until you solve things. Keep up the good work! 5/5
Grow a log from two steps to the left, "hop" onto the star box, grow the upper left log by 1 square, push it leftward so it falls, grow the upper right log by 1 square, push it rightward so it falls. Push the log above the star to the left, get star, grow up a step, run right.
Yes, it was after I killed the 4 bats. She says "I want help! Do you know any way to fix this?" and then he immediately repeats back to "You're name it's jinx right?" with no way for me to exit the dialogue. And it keeps repeating. This happens in Firefox and Chrome.
When I checked it I didn't find any issues with the play test on my game software,. But today around 6 pm eastern I will pm you with a full description of the issue and how I resolve it. Thanks for playing and being patient with me while I figure it out. EDIT: okay so I see where you are stuck but the event didn't repeat for me. Make sure you aren't holding down spacebar, because that would initiate the conversation again. He wants you to go to the smithy in nevoc city and get the amulet fixed. Try talking to him again once you have it fixed and see if that helps.
I end up in a conversation loop with the old man asking to kill bats. He keeps asking if my name is Jinx and having the conversation over and over, I can't get out of it.

I really love this game. If you don't intend to add a save feature, please at least let us know that the game isn't saved as we go. I closed the game to come back later and lost a ton of progress.
Hello, I'm sorry You had some save-related issues. The games does save Your progress, but it's stored locally in Your browser. Hence, if you change your device / operating system / browser / play in browser's private mode or simply clean up the browser's information the progress will not be possible to retrieve :( Also, please make sure you are using the latest version of a modern browser (hint: Internet Explorer is probably NOT a good choice). Also, make sure that your browser's settings aren't configured to "clean files/cookies after window close". Thank You.
I loved this game. I appreciated the fact that you can earn gold medals without obnoxiously perfect runs being required. I would have liked to see a reward level for getting all gold medals. Or even just an acknowledgement. I didn't seem to have any control problems that others seem to complain about.
