This game has some serious potential to be at least as good as Clicker Heroes; the time between when you take down the monsters health bar and the game actually registering that, along with the next monster popping up so promptly makes for a much more fluid progression. Having the auto-progress feature as a purchase only is what's really holding the game back, it takes away the incentive for player used skills or some other mechanic to bring it a step above and causes significant stagnation for an idle sort of game
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. Turning some of the helpful-but-not-absolutely-required features into a purchase has been a pretty controversial move. In general players seem to understand it's worth the (really cheap) price to support the game they love but there are bound to be some who feel entitled to everything for free. Sadly ad revenue doesn't even scratch the surface of what it costs to build a game like this so we have to work out some other way to keep developing the game. That said, always open to new ideas from the players, you guys end up knowing the game just as well as the devs do. Thanks for playing!
The game's running a little buggy for me (I'm running it on Firefox); sometimes a click won't register, and I've just gotten to the mission select screen and it won't let me click anything.
I'm at the level where you're first told to jump, and spacebar keeps exploding/resetting me. I've tried my whole keyboard to no avail, perhaps I'm missing something?
I'm in boomtown, figuring out the dynamics of the new game, and I'm pretty sure I encountered a bug. While going to find Volts for the quest, my character glitched out of sight and appeared to be stuck between three areas (Boomtwon, Fab. Zone 1, and another that popped up less than the other two so I couldn't catch the name). I hope these get fixed, because this seems like a promising game, or at least a change from the norm.
P.S. It also seems like the chat only goes away after a set time; pretty inconvenient when it can cover up the map and your team.
I just completed Shattered Sun (with upgraded sensors and Hyperion Darius in progress) and now I have a quest I can't complete called Quest. Maybe a bug? Otherwise one of the best games I've seen in a while!
I saw a crystal and went to make an upgrade, only to find the crystal hadn't registered because it didn't make it across that last half an inch to line p perfectly with the crystal icon -_-
The Kongregate version is definitely glitched. I tried for the BoD when it first popped up and when I got to the part for entering the door code the lock disappeared after a moment, leaving a blank locked game screen. I just tried again, and at the radio part the game has stopped letting me select any items.
Other than that, this looks like a very nicely done game and will probably be enough to bring me back for a third try at BoD
In the movies, it is called a McGuffin. :D We're glad you liked it, we're going to release the sequel ASAP, we hope it will be very soon!
