@pweent The gems stop floating if they've been touched. You can see them floating up and down normally, but once they've been touched they sit still, on the ground.
I like the ideas, and the game mechanics, but the UI is could use some serious improvements. Skill tree doesn't show pre-reqs, can't untarget a tower so I frequently weapon change by accident, things could use more (and more convenient) hotkeys, lots of cryptic terms... I like what's happening, just wish it was easier to get past the interface and actually play.
You can abuse a flash bug to get auto-fire. Hold down the mouse button, move the mouse out of frame, let go of the mouse button, move back into frame. Voila.
Tough choice... I want to give this a high enough rating for badges, but the ending makes me want to 1/5 on principle. Gameplay is nice, though, and the world can always use more portal-inspired puzzle games.
Great trick for the lasers - you can be behind him, and dodge the lasers that way. Since he starts high, even if he's running all the way to the other side of the map, you still have time to run across and get behind him before he shoots low.
This game is so adorable, and the music is so perfectly soothing and enjoyable. I finished the whole thing, all the achievements and upgrades, and then went back and played through from level one again, because it was so much fun.
This is the third time I've sold off gear in the expectation of using better gear only to find that I'm too low level for the gear I'd like to equip. I'd love to see an icon change or something for gear you can't equip yet.
