v1.13 Update:
- Made sure the coins in some levels are obtainable after collecting enough to unlock the star.
- Adjustments to the requirements needed to unlock some worlds.
Apologies for the 4 year wait. Unfortunately, life got in the way again.
I want to take this opportunity to congratulate the 13 players who managed to reach and complete the bonus world, Paradise. This is an incredible achievement and I'm touched that you took it upon yourself to play the game to this extent.
1.11 released: * Fixed the crab boss having more health than it should on the first attempt. * Fixed shortcuts not triggering all menu buttons that used them. * FROM NOW ON all coins you collect are saved, even if you haven't finished the world yet! This is in preparation for the level select feature I hope to implement soon, that will let you choose where in each world you start from. Have fun!
Hey everyone, as per DCarrier's suggestion, an update will be going up shortly that lets you continue the last world you played without having to start over. Once the update is live (should be in the next 5-10 minutes), the next world you quit out of will save where you were at and allow you to continue without it resetting your progress in that world. Thanks everyone for playing, for sending in your bug reports and for your patience as I iron out issues like this, I hope you continue to enjoy the game!
Sorry everyone but I wasn't supposed to publish this until tomorrow! It should get unpublished soon, in the mean time I hope you enjoyed the game, it will be back!
Quick update to fix some issues:
- Fixed a bug which forced you to use a specific Kongpanion.
- Escape can now be used to pause the game.
- Crab boss health has been reduced from 20 hits to 12 hits, future bosses unchanged so far!
Hey everyone, it looks like the Kongpanions menu doesn't respond well to the Mouse at the moment. I'm going to get a fix up asap, in the mean time you should be able to switch Kongpanions or remove them using the Keyboard (arrow keys to choose a Kongpanion, X to remove, Q to return to the main menu), thanks for your patience!
Well it's almost Christmas day, and I've spent the last few hours trying to fix an irritating bug that will mess the game up on your first time. I think I have finally fixed it BUT if you find that the Go or Back buttons on the shop page aren't working then refresh and hit "Clear Save" on the main menu to fix things. As I've said I think I fixed this now but if not then I will continue trying tomorrow. I also plan to add stats, high-scores and hopefully fix any other issues you come across. Thanks for enduring and Merry Christmas!
There may be one or two bugs that I've missed. If this is the case I will do my best to eradicate them as quickly as possible!
Other than that, I hope you enjoy the game!
Fixed undo functionality breaking and added swatches, click on the current colour box to choose from them (They're also compatible with Darken/Brighten!)
Guys I left the eraser out because you can copy the colour of the background and patch mistakes with that, the eraser would probably have just been a white brush which would have been inconvenient if you chose to use a different background colour.
After months of playing I have finally obtained the Impossible Badge.
This is the most amazing game on Kongregate, hands down. The levels, although pretty difficult from the start (if you're taking in to account that you must collect all coins) prove absolutely ingenious, evil, tricky, and intricate. As far as I can tell, every last moving platform, spike, spinny thing and enemy have been placed and timed carefully to contribute in some way to the level without appearing there for the heck of it, a LOT of thought has gone in to this game from start to finish and I absolutely love it, great work!
Fantastic game, I love the visual improvements, although I felt that you could have done so much with this concept, it felt like there should have been much more levels.
Still, an excellent game and worth playing to the end.
Level 10: after lighting most/all of the boxes in order to reach the torches, a final set of boxes in the bottom left corner would not ignite, boxes that collided with the fire would ignite for a second and then unignite.
Great game, but a bug:
If I drag the mouse off of the in-game area and on to the menu (in an attempt to angle the line correctly), I might for example lift the mouse button while hovering over the "Restart" button, which will inevitably restart the level :(. Good work as always!
