Great work! I'm glad you consistently write such lovely stories and twists and such. Gregg (and especially his crime stories and thus their writer) is worthy to be up there along with Agatha Christie's Poirot, and possibly even next to A C Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, though you do tend to have a lot more humour than both. :)
I did miss the whole "Detective" angle to Dregg Moriss games. I'm very happy to see it in its own little "Mystery-Centered" game. Great work, VasantJ! I dare say your lovely mini-stories are as pleasant as an Agatha Christie mystery. Cheers!
Decent game, but it would be great if enemy shots weren't getting obscured by my shots.
The flamethrower makes noticing the need to dodge very, very difficult, if at all possible some times.
This was a wonderful point and click, and I'd love to be able to play more like it. The world is fun, the characters are fun...
It had me scratching my head at one point, but then I realized I had forgotten to go to a place and ask a person about a thing... :)
And then it all fell into place. :)
I only had one little, tiny, frankly insignificant problem... Walking from one edge of the screen to the other was annoying some times... Maybe add the option to double-click to skip that, a-la some old-school adventure games?
...
That is all. Superb, simply superb!
Other users have asked for a way to speed up movement, too, so I'll definitely try to implement that double-click function in the next game.
That said, thank you for playing and I'm glad you had fun!
This was all so very wonderful!
The entire series, the entire game...
I hope you manage to put so much effort and dedication in further wonderful, exciting, slightly tear-jerking and frankly entertaining titles.
Also - to give Gilbert not only a rubber duck, but a pulley as well.
I encountered a bug at the end, where my inventory couldn't scroll and I had no access to my notes and lighter...
But other than that - it all played exquisitely!
Thank you!
Farewell, developers, and farewell end credits, and I'd love to see more some day! :)
Your comment made us cry as babies. *_* Thank you, thank you SO MUCH! We're trying our best, and we'll try even more. If you liked it so much, support us - even just speaking about us; give the chance, we're trying to develop a sequel to this adventure - AMOC: No Rest for the Wicked - but it will require MUCH more resources. Thank you again, and please, keep having fun! :)
It's a wonderful rendition of this game.
The only problem I had is that after a while of staring at that bright magenta my eyes started getting an unpleasant sensation. Maybe consider using a different, less vibrant colour?
Did the same on level four.
Also, sometimes the wagons just... Detach, or fail to exit the starting position at all.
It's a decent concept, even if it's been made before...
If you fix the game, it would be nice.
But right now it's unenjoyable and unplayable.
the game glitched... On level TWO.
I ordered the tracks, and the train just... Refused to make a turn.
Or move.
Which caused it to explode and fail the level.
Wonderful puzzle platformer, which actually emphasizes puzzle-solving over skill.
Also - a game for patient people. Not to be played without catching one's breath and calming down. :)
Yes, some systems don't support the shadows. I'm unfortunately unable to determine this -- otherwise I'd turn them off automatically. As to why the image is just really weird with them enabled: I'm not sure, but I've seen it as well.
Unfortunately, all I could see from the puzzles was a number of blue squares. No picture on them, or anything. Just... blue squares, you could assemble into one big blue square.
That's a compatbility issue. It's unfortunate I chose to do this in WebGL since I can't even detect those issues. If you turn down the game quality it might work for you -- and certainly disable the shadows.
Lovely game.
Made me stretch my spatial thinking, while also putting my brain through the interesting thought of "is this a weird sudoku?"
I wish it were longer...
There is only one thing I would like to suggest... Let us type in the numbers. As an alternative.
Otherwise - I found no flaws in the concept, or realization. Bravo! :)
There have been so many games like this...
This one wasn't among the good ones.
The controls were somehow sluggish and glitchy, the level design was rather boring and the whole thing was more than easy.
All in all - it provided nothing new, and nothing really worthwhile.
It was like a showcase of game mechanics. With no depth to the game.
The platform portion needs more work.
The way the caracter "freezes in mid-air" the moment they touch a tile is horrible, when you have to make precise jumps.
It's a neat, albeit not too original concept. It might make for a great game.
However the unresponsive controls and the horrible clipping issues I encountered ultimately ruin the experience.
And... May I suggest adding a way to glance from a higher point of view sometimes? Including foreground objects isn't bad, but having them completely cover up the player piece without the viewer being able to see where it is located, or where the path is... Kind of feels unpleasant.
I am glad people are still liking the series after such a long time and so many episodes. Thansk for the support :)
