The only thing difficult about hard mode survival was having the patience to keep playing long enough to hit 100k. I was able to type ONE HANDED until around 60,000 score. this is on -hard-. The acceleration of difficulty was abysmally slow. I could've had better luck riding a snail a quarter of a mile. I didn't even feel remotely taxed until around 200,000 at which point I just quit playing. after HALF AN HOUR of game play and no sort of challenge on survival mode on the hardest difficulty? Damn. I mean. I know I"m a good typist, 100 wpm average, but that's just silly that it takes that long to even become remotely engaging. Let alone taxing.

80% hit chance, and 75% hit chance? more like 50 and 45%. I've seen 80-90% hit chance abilities miss four or five times in a row, and this is FREQUENTLY.

I really do like the simple concept, graphics, and music. However, what I do not like is the difficulty. It's not because it's hard necessarily. It's because that "hard" difficulty comes from random bomb drops and window placements that literally make it impossible to succeed. Even if you gave a command less than a 20th of a second after noticing the danger you'd still die. After repeated attempts I've gotten to a best of 2,863 meters. You know why? Because that was a "lucky" run where only one bomb spawned, and I only had to jump through 3 windows.

I really like this over canabalt. Canabalt always bugged me how so much of it was based on luck. There were jumps you literally could not possibly make even if you reacted within the tenth of a second you saw them. While this game has less pure luck and more skill to it. The one flaw I think this game has is that the ability to be immune to boulders and enemies at max run speed isn't very useful. Mostly because it takes a -long- time for you to hit max run speed, and by the time you do it's damn hard to actually avoid hitting something that will deal damage and slow you down all the way.

I've tried about once a day now for over six months, gotten close a few times but never made it. A lot of it is luck with the placement of star trails. Plenty of times I have amazing combos going, and all I need is to hit one or two star trails and after three jumps I can't find a -single- one to star slide on. Closest I ever got was 1850 meters high. when the restaurant is at 2k.

The very beginning of level 30 is utter garbage. it's a narrow margin, very narrow, that you have to get from the red change to the purple one. Out of 50 tries I got it once, and that one time the game glitched when I started toward the edge and the spikes killed me. I'm not finishing this.

There's one point I realized you'd be screwed. The game's design is clever and contains lots of useful high school biology level information. The point you can screw yourself however is by having too many mitochondria or chloroplasts. I noticed that trying to have three choloroplasts depleted my NA to nothing and I couldn't recycle any to regain NA since the thing that recycles requires NA to produce. A bit of a catch 22.

It's interesting that the message here is doing what you want makes things more meaningful, but that doing what others want is bad and makes life bleak and uninteresting. Not really true, and it automatically assumes that if someone is telling you to do something it's because they just want to assert control.

The physics in this game are complete and utter garbage. What roller coaster isn't attached to the track? What roller coaster when going down a gentle slope has it's rear cars whip tail up and over the front end cause of some stupid little fiddly track lip. Whoever did any kind of testing on this game should be given a different job. They did not make enough complaints about this game in development.

A few things I noticed was that the parents just flee into the house when you first show up completely abandoning their kids. The most interesting thing though is that even if you let the family die you can never get to "the end". It just gets inevitably harder and harder to avoid gunfire until you die. The message seems to be war invariably kills the innocent. Whether they are human civilians or harmless aliens. tl;dr = war is bad.

The game gets stupid easy if you get about level 15-20 ish. Just set your skills for maxed out exp bonus, then max out defense and attack as much as possible. Start grinding the very first level over and over turning on more and more bonus modes. Eventually, when you have maxed troop defense and attack, and good speed just spam all your troops to the enemy hq. if you get speed, def, and atk maxed you can turn on all the bonuses and zerg the hq as well as the little house nearby after they try to expand. Easy 10-15k exp a game. which is one level per game from about level 20-45

The trick with 29 I've found is to first cut a diagonal line on the little ledge holding the fat lady up. Once she pushes the one frozen in the round ball onto the ship, pop her. Then cut at the most vertical angle you can, the one to the right. Then, make another cut so it's a thin sliver between his chunk and the one you just made. Then cut him free of the pin. He should slide on to the ship. Then just cut the other one free so that his chunk will swing out with enough momentum to cut mid swing to land on the ship. It requires pretty good timing.

I agree with some people that the luck base has a tendency to screw you over too much. One person gets really lucky with the level design and can easily hit 3000m + with just simple jumping. Where as another person gets screwed with a t let you try over and over to get a feel for the levels pattern either.

This game has several fundamental flaws. One, your camera angle is HORRID for judging the pixel perfect edge detection. My biggest complaint though. Your character's hit box is so ill defined with the above angle issue that It's a huge pain to figure out where the edge of the walls and ledges are. Especially at later levels. I beat it, but god help me if I don't want to back hand the creator for those faults.

God... I've been trying at least once every couple of days for over six months now. Still haven't been able to get to the restaurant. Closest I've ever gotten is about 1700 meters high. So much of it is just being lucky and hitting the starslides just right when you get that high.

Insane is a nice big ball of bullshit. If you haven't fully upgraded square and circle you have no chance of beating the first insane level. The best I've gotten and my square and circle upgrades are already near maxed... Is about 80/123

With the way the meebs fall every time on level 30 it's impossible to do. Since you have to have all of your meebs to the right of your blue meeb, but by default 2 or 3 fall to the left of it.

This is seriously one of the hardest games I've ever played on kongregate. I can say without a doubt that driving school is the most infuriating puzzle I've hit to date.
